I do agree, celebrity fitness is not up to the mark. What was promised was never offered.Fitness First is better as compared to celebrity

Please file a case against them in the consumer court. Why take this nonsense from them.
They come to our country to set up shop and treat us like this?
Lets all wake up and create awareness against such malpractices.
My suggestion if you want to join a good gym is OZONE, great staff, great people, good trainers and they treat you like family.

I'm not sure if you paid full attention while signing the documents and perhaps mistakenly agreed to have them auto debit your account. The reason i say this is because when i joined celebrity fitness, i too paid with my debit card. However, i was late on making a payment on my second month's fee for which they requested me to do so - no one directly debited by account because at the time of signing up i told them that i would not like them to auto debit my account. Also i was asked to provide my credit card details that they would debit in case i do not make timely payment and they did not touch either.
I think this is a case of simple mis-understanding. You should start gymming there and reverse the auto debit authorization and yes, you will come to love the place!

I strongly agree to your complaints, whatever was offered and promised at time of selling membership was never delivered...poor hygiene...unhelpful trainer...rude staff...drinks chargeable(at time of sale told free)...steam n sauna dirty...parking hassle...i m truly caught in the web of direct debit of my credit card..when asked to cancel due to poor service i was horrified to know they asked 9500 to cancel..
FitnessFirst is decent option compared yet little smaller size and some 200bucks costlier but m enjoying my workout..

buggars have done the same to me...and to add to my myseries no one is available to sort the matters...I am for sure going to consumer court...
we all are talking about celebrity fitness... Its not only the celebrity fitness but almost every club is not good... I ask all of you a few questions... 1 when you go to a health club or gym, you fill a written consent form that means if anything happens you to in the gym, the gym faculty or your trainer is nt responsible for that... But do you get any consent form about your trainer, s qualification.. Do you try to know is ur trainer qualified or nt... I have worked in many gyms and even today i hav nt found a single trainer who is scientifically trained and qualified... Do u guys know that even the fitness manager of celebrity fitness does not hav any qualification to train people...he was in sales dept...in that gym all the trainers r unqualified...having a builder, s body does nt give u a trainer certification... So please dont allow unqualified trainers to experiment on your bodies... So always get a consent form abt ur trainer, s qualification... If in future u will come to that u were given wrong information... Then please go to consumer court... When you go to gym ask ur trainer a lot of questions abt nutrition and fitness... So please be aware...
I think we all should always check multiple times before signing any document. Nevertheless OP can get the issue sorted out with the gym management without any problems.
Celebrity fitness is a greedy place where they only have eyes on your pocket and i did a Big mistake taking there 6 months membership.the trainers are just irritating, just after and forcing for personal training and ifvyou dont take personal training they even dont see you or attend you.just fake n bad.
