I am residing Block No.21, Door No.28, South boag road, T.Nagar, for past 20 years. Over 6 months I am facing Drainage over flow very frequently, whenever I complain to Mr. Govindaraj [protected] and Mr. Ramalingam A.E [protected] they said they will send the person immediately but they never did, after lot of calls also they didn’t send the person we have to call them at least 3 times in a day to remained but we did not get the proper response.
They take at least a week to clean it, Whenever they came and cleaned that would be blocked on the same day or next day. It is happening till now from 6 months. I think they are not doing their work properly.
Sometimes the sewage water mixes with the metro water. Because of this last week I suffered by bad flue and my elder son also got fever, In our street lot of children badly affected by this.
Because of bad smell and over flow of drainage water we are unable to use the toilet and bathroom. How can we live in this environment?

I am Dr. R..Jaganathan, residing at 30 ( Old No.), S.P.S.First Street, Royapettah, Chennai-14, for past 50 years, For the past 6 months, I am facing drainage over flow very frequently. Whenever I complain to the concern authorities, they commit but it requires lot of follow up either in person or thro' phone. Many occasion, we had taken the help of our MC as well as political intervention through known sources for getting the work executed. People at the office are very arrogant b in their behavior and I feel they lack basic mannerism.

I am residing at 34 kumaran nagar, 80 feet road, peravallur, chennai-82. In front of our house in the 80 feet road there is a over flow and block and the sewage water is flowing along the road and it makes much inconvenience to the public. Already i have have complained to the local AE office on 4.09.09 in land line no 26705290 and again with AE mobile no [protected] thrice from the date of complaint so far no action as been taken so again i complained in the mobile no [protected] today. So far no action has been taken and overflowing water makes much inconvenience to the moving public. So kindly arrange to rectify the work early please.

I am living at thiruvanmiyur kuppam, (Vembuliamman koil street) our foot path affected in drainage water (from one neighbour house namely Balu and Mrs Anjalidevi). we are all going daily morning to office, to school and to college and wherever from our house we was walking on the drainage water.

I am residing in M Block No.18, Anna Colony at South boag road, T.Nagar, chennai - 17 for past 30 years. For the last more than 3 weeks drainage is overflowing behind my house and sewerage water is flooded resulting in mosquitos and foul smell emanating and elderly persons living therein are suffering from serious unknown diseases and have been hospitalised.It has become a recurring problem and this time serious. The drinking water which is being supplied to this area seems to have contaminated with brackish water and the result of which the drinking water smells obnoxious like sewage water and also turbid in colour.This status is continuing for more than five months and several times we have made complaints to the Assistant Engineer of the area concerned and till now the issue remains unresolved for the reasons best known to them. Now the problem is getting worsen day by day and if the same situation continued further it may even lead to the mass break out of epidemic diseases. Therefore I request that appraising the gravity of the situation the authorities shall act immediately on war footing manner so as to ensure a clean water supply to this area and also to avoid any health hazard to the residents in future,

WE are residing in V.M. street Mylapore for the past 40 years and we would like to inform that the drainage block is often coming in our street and this drainage block is due heavy amount of slit which has not been taken for the past so many years . Due tothis defect all the houses are flooded and the drainage water is over flowing in the street causing worries to the public who are going thro this street for work. And also the musqiutto is breeding in this drainage water causing DENGU fever and other virus fever in the street. There is no use of telling our complaint to the counsillor and also the concerned A.E. of this region. Kindly look in to this matter to clean and remove the stagnated Slit in the drainage pipe in our street so that this will help us to remain in the street with out any dicease.

I am a resident of A-1, Rohtak Road, Nangloi, Delhi - 110041. In our colony, the problem of water
logging arises and Blockage in front of our House and Adjoining Houses. With the result of this the
drainage is over flowing and drainage water is coming to the road and the drainage too is not
