Chosticks Asiad Village Restaurant — False advertising
ReminderTo whom it may concern:
I am attaching herewith a copy of the ad of 28th October, 2009 which clearly states that two people would get a buffet meal for below Rs. 700/ and yet we were charged Rs. 1,386 (cash memo 0079756) for the same. (copy of invoice also attached),
On enquiring about it we were told that the newspaper had made a mistake and that they were putting an ad to say that there was a mistake made by the paper. Yet, although they had other advertising put out in front of the restaurant they did not have an apology to say that the paper had made a mistake, and that the advertising was false.
Please look into it as this false advertising would have caused a lot of people like us, to travel the distance to Chopsticks to avail themselves of this great discounted buffet and on reaching there would have had it without realising that they were going to be paying a lot more than they bargained for.
Thanking you,
Amarjit Singh Kamal
