[Resolved]  CIBIL — Wrongly Listed as Defaulter in CIBIL

I am Tanaji Namdeo Chavan s/o Namdeo Dyanu Chavan PAN No. ACJPC5711F residing at B-202 Neel Srushti Sector-4 New Panvel (E) Navi Mumbai 410206. I have applied for home loan from IDBI Bank. Idbi has not processed my application stating that some default is indicated in CIBIL report under address A/p Reda Tal Indapur Dist Pune. This address is not all concerned with me. It is understood from CIBIL that ICICI bank has reported the default in my name. I enquired at A/p Rada tal Indapur and found that there is a person who has same name & date of birth like me and he has taken loan from ICICI bank. I have collected the copies of documents from ICICI customer regarding ID, Residential (PAN -newly issued) and Loan proof. I am requesting ICICI bank to inform CIBIL the genuine information to CIBIL in order to delete the wrong entry from my name. However, ICICI Bank is not accepting my verbal request or written application (with documentary evidence) stating that they can not deal with me as I am not their customer.
It is very essential to get my home loan sanctioned to complete the sale transanction. I am being harrassed by ICICI Bank & CIBIL by doing wrong entry in my name and not correcting it.
I hold both ICICI Bank & CIBIL responsible for harrassment & consequences.
