This complaint is in reference to your tie up with CitiFinancial branch pakhowal road opposite HDFC bank Ludhiana. In the month of July this year, I had applied for the personal loan with citi financial, pakhowal road Ludhiana and had interaction with citi financial executives Ms Lovepreet kour and Mr Devinder singh. I was suggested by them to take up a insurance policy from bharti axa with the loan. The condition was set; only if the loan is approved i would take up the insurance policy.
As the application formality, they had asked for a cheque of 18000/- in the name of Bharti axa with no dates on the cheque (cheque no 430494). Later the loan was not approved. I had personally confirmed with the above mentioned executives that the check would be destroyed and not sent for clearance. I was also earlier assured by Ms Lovepreet kour and Mr. Devinder singh that in any case the cheque would never be sent for clearance until and unless the authorized person permits to do so.
On 30th of November 2009, I was shocked to see my bank statement as the sum of 18000/- bearing cheque no 430494 has been deducted from my HDFC account. I also spoke to Mr. Jaswinder pal singh from bharti axa office Ludhiana ([protected]) who confirmed that the policy no- [protected] in my name were ready for dispatch. This is a clear case of fraud and misguidance.
I DON’T WANT ANY POLICY FROM YOUR COMPANY AND WOULD LIKE TO GET MY MONEY REFUNDED ASAP. I ALSO WANT STRICT ACTION TO BE TAKEN AGAISNT THE EXECUTIVES OF THE CITIFIANCIAL WHO HAVE BROKEN MY TRUST AND GIVEN A BAD TO BOTH THE ORGANISATIONS.
I would like to get a positive reply back within 48 hours. If in case I am not responded with a positive note, I would file a legal action against both the organization and also send this mail to media and press
I would also suggested all my colleagues and people who know me not to go for any policy from bharti axa and loan from citi financial
