[Resolved]  Club 7 Holidays — cheated by tour operator club 7, kolkata

Dear Sir/Ma’am,


I have taken a package tour from your club 7 office Saltlake Sector 1 branch to Nepal last week(14 to 17 Oct). As required by the executive Mr. Shantanu Majumder, I have deposited Rs.37,953/- for four days tour. I am sorry to inform you that I had a worst experience in my Trip.

There is lack of professionalism and huge miscommunication by your executive and your Nepal counter part which landed us in total mess in an unknown country.

In our itinerary it was mentioned about Delux accommodation and airport transfers. They have accommodated us in a low grade guest house in Kathmandu. Airport transfer was not arranged in Pokhra and our extreme disappointment was there was no hotel booking in our name. We had managed our own accommodation by paying extra charges.

I seek your attention and action in this regards.

We have completed European Splendor on 14th of this month. In fact we had booked our tour with Club7 for international departure from Kolkata and back also journey date on 2nd Oct (holiday) but when the tour matured we were shocked to find the itinerary showing departure on 1st Oct by Indigo flight departing Kolkata at 8pm for Nagpur and Int sector by Qatar flight at 3:45 for Doha. similarly return journey also via Nagpur to Kolkata reaching at 09:00 am after undergoing two layovers at Doha and Nagpur each 5 hours approximately. Thus mixing up domestic and international sector either way made our leave plan upset, we were forced to take two days extra leave at the last moment that too without prior consent from us. Moreover our luggage allowance was curtailed to 23Kg per pax and no service like breakfast was provided to us during return flight to Kolkata. We felt we should not have booked with Club7 while lot many tour operators were available and offering good packages during Puja holidays. So working Ladies and gentlemen be careful before buying package from Club7. During tour in Switzerland we had paid separately 165 Euro per person for optional 'Jungfraujoch trip with lunch at top' but no lunch was arranged. Worst experience was on the last day, local tour guide did not enter Vatican city and we were made to run around inside, accompanying Club7 tour administrator was of no help in this regard. Hotels were away from city so lot of travelling by bus made us tired each day.
