whatever nagu has said is correct.. i too tried to contact coimbatore passportoffice for more than 20 times.. the tele enquiry numbers given [protected], [protected] are totally waste.. no one even attend the call..

I HAVE SUBMITED THE APPLICATION FOR PASSPORT ON 19.11.09, POLICE VERIFICATION IS BEEN COMLEATED ONE MONTH AGO, I HAVE TO ATTEND AN INTERVIEW WITHIN FIVE DAYS SO PLEASE SEND THE PASSPORT AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

i'm Senthil.Coimbatore Passport office customer care very very waste. no one response phone call. more than 50 times i call customer care.
coimbatore passport office staff's living luxury life. top level officers also not attending phone call and enquiry contact number also always cut my phone call. i'm in very urgent possion so i applied tatkaal, tatkaal means 3 days to take process but one week completed but still process not start.
hi iam gomathi i was applied passport to april but still iam not received just status about my passport i check online got some phone numbers cbe passport office but very ver very very wast and worst customer care i call lot of times but still no one attend my call then why give the phone numbers i dont know...and two iam going to coimbatore office but no response and not allowed u just check online told me online no response what can i do idont know actuly my husband in US so ialso going to us but stiil iam not received my passport. what are doing coimbatore passport office people i dont know god only know...
Passport process is stuck after police verification
My police verification was done before 2 months .. but till now i didn't get my passport.. when i contacted the police station, they said that they have forwarded it, but no report is received and while checking the online status it's showing as Police Report has not been received. File Reference Number : CBE-A[protected].
Please kindly look into this as it almost 5 months is over. Thanks

i have applied for my passport in february2012, but still now that is august 9th 2012 i have the response from the passport office that you will receive the passport in next one week for the past 3 months.I am very tired of calling them again.I wend directly to passport office and made a complaint and the officer told you will get in two days time.Now it almost a month and i have no response.What the hell they are doing inside the luxirious building.
In my opnion we need to give some money to inside people to make it happen ... what a same..where india is going ...absolute nosence...
God better save india from the corrupt people.IS some honest IFS officer (passport officer) listening ?...
