Hi,

This is Manohari. Last Feb'25,2011 i had applied for passport under tatkaal scheme. After 15 days i got letter from passport office regarding to submit of one more additional address proof. i sent one more address proof with postal. and also i went to passport office 29.03.2011 for enquiry my passport. as enquiry officer advise i checked with my local poilce station . from police station they sent my police enquiry form to passport office. but my status till date nil only i couldnt get any status information from passport office.

Its True. But no Media is publishing this kind of passport office activity. . I dont know why! Most of the unimportant news are published in the news paper but there is no information about this kind of problem in passport office... like, updation, how, where, when to apply, etc., Getting Passport is not easy job, because many of them don't know how to operate the computer itself, if they know also they don't get appointment at time. As this is happening, How can an illiterate person can get the passport easily.
