[Resolved]  Connect Broadband — When bill was paid, why was the notice send???? and threatening calls from

Dear Sir/Mam,

Last year, in the month of Oct, 2012, we shifted our office, so we asked connect customer care to disconnect its connection and collect the modem, but the didn't initiate to our request. I visited their office several times, but they didn't enact. They finally I sent a complain mail to customer care, and then on 7th Jan 2013, an agent of connect customer care came to collect the bill and modem. I settled the matter in Rs 1000, as we had informed to disconnect in the month of Oct, but it was there carelessness that they did not come to collect. Attached are the bill receipt and disconnection letter, in which it is clearly mentioned that I have due over connect, and we have cleared all payment.

But now after 2 months, in March 2013, they sent me a legal notice of due bill, and got a call from you connect office - Ranjit Avenue Branch, Amritsar, a girl, Ms Kritika called up from no. +[protected], and she spoke too rudely. Not only this, when I told her that I have cleared the amount and submitted the modem, for which I have clear evidence, instead to understand the matter and initiate the confusion occurred, she harshly ORDERED me to come to there office. If there is negligence, then it is from your end, that you cannot maintain a proper record.

Apart from this, when I asked her to stop calling me, and clear the confusion from her end first, as to ask the agent who came to collect the bill amount from us. In revert tone was quite displeasing. She said, "apko toh ab hum batayege" . Not only this, when I said, if you keep harassing me I shall ask my Lawyer to deal with you in consumer court, she said, "jaiye, apko lawyer main bata deti hu, paise lagege na" . IS THIS THE WAY TO SPECK ????????????????????????


And then Mr. Vishal, (contact no: +[protected]who didn't even listen to me completely and just dropped the phone, giving a threatening warring, and Mr. Uttam, who in the whole conversation isn't been asked anything.!!! If I have paid the amount, submitted the modem, for which I have provided you prior evidence, they why aren't Mr. Uttam been asked where is the mentioned????? Why am I been harassed for the situation??? Why am I to pay for Connect negligence????? Is Connect agency ask there employees to misbehave and threatened the customers ?????

Please sir/mam, help me out in this situation, this is totally illegal to threaten customer.

connect broadband — extra bill sent

i am using connect broadband after one month no bill is come but the net is stop after two months no bill and give a call and ask that pay the pay of two months but i am using broandband only one month i am not pay any bill because i give security money advance
