I had deposited vide cheque no.009077 dtd.07.10.09 for Rs.4,000/- towards settlement of payment against my Card No. [protected] and dropped the same to the drop box at your “Chanakyapuri, New Delhi” Drop Box at the appropriate date. To my surprise on 21.10.2009, I got a phone call from the ICICI customer care that I have still running an outstanding and when I have explained that I have already dropped my cheque at their appropriate drop box, they given to understand that they are having a bad fleet of collection boys who some times misplace the cheques and therefore a fresh cheque shall be needed to square up the amount and no late payment charges will be levied for the wrong doing. Accordingly, I issued a fresh cheque # 009083 dtd.21.10.09 for Rs.4,000/- and were served a payment receipt no. 8960352 dtd.21.10.09 from ICICI Bank.
But to my utter surprise when I check the next statement for the period from 22.09.09 to 22.10.09, I was surprised to see that I have been levied with a late payment charges of Rs.400/- plus service tax.
To enquire the discrepancy, on 18.10.2009, I called up the Customer Care at phone No. [protected], I explained the entire episode, but even listening to the entire episode customer care handled by Mr. K. Sridhar (Officer) and Ms. Aasifa Shaik (Senior Officer) gave very unprecedented and mischievous replies with negative attitudes and declined my request to reverse the late payment charges of Rs.400/-.
I request herewith the higher authorities to kindly look into the matter carefully and request them to kindly do the following needful:
01. To revert the late payment charges of Rs.400/-,
02. To take proper action against the rude and misbehaved customer care executives.
Until, I get a favorable reply from you I shall be constraint not to pay this Rs.400/- Was this information helpful? |
