[Resolved]  DABC, Chennai — Apartment quality is very bad

Address: Chennai, Tamil Nadu

I have purchased a Flat in DABC and the response after getting the key is worst, quality of apartment is not good. In DABC no one held the responsibility for the quality. They are only money oriented and not even bothered about safety of handrail and ballusters. It is dangerous to kids.

I am not sure if "Vadivelan" complaint posted on[protected] is the same user id requesting to remove the complaint from this forum. The latest user id "Vadivelans" has an "s" at the end which leads me to believe it is not the same user. Not sure, why a user would request to remove the complaint from the forum instead of just saying "Issue Resolved - TY!"
Hi I have a flat in Mithilam nolambur. DABC people responded to all our concerns till we pay our last payment. after getting the key thats not the case. Its been only 3 months we are in this mithilam flat, we started getting leakage of water in the wall at 2 places in our house. we made a complain to DABC. Its been more than 2 weeks still they didnt take any action.
I would like to be Neutral at this moment, since i have booked recently in Abhinayam phase 3. I think progress in fast, but the qulaity also shall be perfect along the axis of execution. we are not looking for immediate completion. so, better to do with good quality than faster completion. whoever booked in Abhinayam, they knew that project will be over at March 2011. so, fast completion should not lead to quality issue. this is my request. few of my mails are not answered by DABC even now. They are not showing interest on email communication. as someone told, we are living in Mogappair, so we cannot travel for all issues to OMR. So, they shall answer within two days about all client queries and clarification. They are even telling that they cannot send any confirmation in mail. then what for we use mail system. in this modern world, mail communication is important and reduce the man hours. so, i request DABC to send replies for all client mails immediately(not some time when they are free). This will bring attachement with DABC. They also should operate small office near Mogappair or Annanagar or in site for all client co-ordination. the money required to operate in site will be even less. clients are paying labours insurance also eventhough it is part of payment in other projects. so DABC shall look all aspects.
I seeing many posts supporting DABC, Yes it is true prior to Mithilam, But Mithilam is the worst project and I am seeing many mails strongly support DABC, with out even considering the possibility and Also using offensive words. So I guess these are all fake ID's and it is all marketing techniques of DABC. It is clearly visible in the post to remove the complaint by Vadivelan(s).
DABC also ditched their old customers by not completing their promises in Abhinayam Phase - 1, Abhinayam Phase 2, Gokulam Phase 1, Phase 2 and Phase 3. It is real pain to deal with their STP plants and they left all the families in Nolambur stranded without the sewage line connections which they have promised during the launch of these projects. Very conveniently washed their hands after handing over the collected cash to the respective association, with no direct explanation to the owners. They might say, it is not under their purview to give a sewage connection, but terrible to treat their own customers this way without giving any workable solution and certainly DABC is a builder with no social responsibility.

The entire nolambur is facing a pandemic danger NOW because of ground water contamination and it is stinking heavily at the entrance of all the DABC projects of Nolambur by the raw sewage overflow in all their colonies and Mithilam is not too far away from this sewage overflow issue.
It is really sickening to hear this news on facing a pandemic danger because of ground water contamination. I hope this was an exaggerated issue. Please let all the owners of the DABC flats protest against this by blocking the road or something or sending chain mails so that an awareness is created and going forward the municipal corporation takes this issue seriously and fix it.
What about other projects other than DABC they would also follow the same problem as DABC projects. why single out DABC projects. It was mentioned some time back that this locaiton would come under corporation and hence sewage lines whould be laid soon. What happended to that proposal.
Dabc Mithilam project finishes are very worst, especially on tiles work.

Even the complaint goes also they are not even botherd to look in to it. According to DABC, what ever they have done is the best finishes and the rectification works will be carried out under their mercy. They have the rights to talk about the payment delay and ultimately collect the interest on the delayed payments, but the owners do not have the rights to talk about the quality.

Even the low profile promotors deliver a good work, than DABC.. While book a flat, marketing guys use to talk very nicely and once booked, their part is over than we have to interact with the project co-ordinators and their behaviour my God no word to say, we have to stand in front of them like a begger to get the rectifications works done.

I do not know, whether the owner aware of these guys behaviour.
Unless DABC change their attitude, their future buisiness will become a big question mark.
DABC owners please take the above issues seriously and improve the quality.
We already own a flat built by Ceebros in Virugambakkam, and we bought one in DABC Mithilam. It is the biggest mistake we have made, to have been lured into believing that DABC is a good promoter. The exterior walls have hair cracks all around, and the rain water seeps inside leaving a foul smell during the recent months, I have already noticed that the sewage lines overflow around all DABC apartments like Gokulam, Aishwaryam, etc, to top it the stps also overflow. One gets a feel of living in a Housing Board tenement!. The roads to the Mithilam are the WORST. DABC has shown private roads as its own roads, and now those private persons are not allowing the roads to be repaired or used by the DABC residents.
I am now trying to sell of my apartment in Mithilam and invest in a flat which has good accessability.
Hi hang on. Nolumbur is coming under corporation limits. Hope after that roads and sewage lines would be given
I agree with shivasuderr, the roads in Nolambur area are very bad, it is not fit for any mode of transportation - cars, two-wheelers or walk.
I agree. DABC apartments in Nolumbur like Gokulam 1, 2 and 3, Abinayam 1, 2
and Mithilam are worst condition. DABC ditched the genuine customers.
They will say that they will maintain for one year. All the system will work till that time. Also occupant will be less intitial.
After one year, occupant will be more and all system will go down.
By this time, DABC will leave the assocation. No one is familar about these STPs
All flats Gokulam, Abinayam and mithilam facing STP problem
its not working. simply wasting power consumption. All sewage water is over flowing inside the flat and outside the road too..Add with roads are also very bad condition and its not fit to drive any vehicle. apart ment is also not in good quality.
recently ground water also started contaminating becuase of sewage over flow.
we bought the flat here to have peaceful life but our peace is gone becuase of DABC. whoever is going to book or recently booked, try to get back your money or else its full of waste
We really got pissed off because of this issue. I wonder why this is made a big issue now. For years DABC has promoted flats. Why now only things are blow out of proportion. If this is a problem it should be the first complaint in this forum so that others would be aware of it. Now they are already closing down the show in Nolambur its really come as a very bad taste.
Why not all the DABC association make a public issue litigation or go to consumer forum to see something can be done for this. I believe since Nolambur has brought under chennai corporation sewage lines would be drawn for all the flats and permanent solution would be available soon.
Greedy Promoters + corrupt officials + unethical politicians = PUBLIC SUFFERING !
SEE WHAT HAS HAPPENDED IN EGYPT. ITS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME, THE SAME WOULD HAPPEN IN INDIA. ONE MILLION SHOULD JOIN HANDS AND RAID THE HOUSES OF POLITIICIANS AND HIGH GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS AND BRING THEM TO ROAD.
hai i am a land broker, DABC purchasing land are not genune owner pls check before buying the land all the EC of all land
the main roads near mogappair west bus stand have been relaid, but it is the same sorry state of affairs in the interior areas. the nolambur councillors, panchayat president are happily settled with the money they have amassed during their tenure. the nolambur people should ensure that they select people who would work for the betterment of the infrastructure atleast this election.
I got an email from DABC that the apartment (DABC Abhinayam Phase III) is ready for occupation. After visiting the apartment I was shocked to see that the tiles in the living room are broken and the overall tiles work was very very bad. Beware of this builder. I thought this is a good builder. But I would never recommend this group my Friends or relatives.
