[Resolved]  DDA Flats, Near Alaknanda. Kalkaji. New Delhi — Neighbours not Cooperating

Hi,

I live in DDA Flats .Kalkaji.
Well, its one of the worst experience ever I have had till now. The Neighbours here seems to have less civic sense and some level of illitracy.

I am so disappointed and same time surprise to see that a city like Delhi still have people with no respect, culture and behavior at all.

Now, the real problem is, I have a car which I usually park downstairs ( apart from the DDA Flats area.
One fine day, I saw the car cover has been torn completely. I managed to stitch it somehow. After a week, again someone ( DDA Flats residents) againt torn my car cover.

Third time, again the cover was ruined.

After all of these, we still didn't raise any complaint.

Now, the real bit of it. One night, at 2:00 am, a husband and wife knocked our door and started yelling and mis behaving saying " take your car out else we will break it". Now, we were not in a mood to pick a fight. Because, my roomate and I, are from the respectable families. However, they insisted us and even came into our room forcefully and started abusing and mis behaving.

Long story short, we parked our car somewhere else. Now, next day, we contacted our dear landlord ( I must appreciate that he helped us). We called the Police and the police came with a verbal warning to all the residents not to threaten us.

Now, again one morning the car cover was rotten.

I request you to guide us a way to get away from this problem. We want to live happily and not pick fights like this on a daily basis however these people, who all live here , they dominate everyone who lives here.

This is a generous plea to please help us.

I shall look forward to receiving a reply from you.

I am lodging a complaint here.

Regards,
Neelam

haha haaa... cool yaar
Nice story dudd...!
I will advice u to send this story to Bollywood. I am sure they can make a comedy movie from u'r experience.
Rohit, it seems you find pleasantry in every aspect of life, even in someone's trouble/crisis. There's a proverb in English which somewhat suits you. It goes like... "Talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish."

A little advice for you Rohit... if you cannot empathise with someone's problem or give them some helpful advice, try not to make fun the situation. This definitely won't solve the other person's problem but it will surely help you to become a mature and sensible HUMAN being.
You are correct Simi, Rohit: Try to be a human being man... i think u r also staying at Kalkaji DDA flats.. i[censored] lagh at others problms, god will give u also these pbms may b more than this... that time nobody will be there to help u... and who the hell are yoou to comment like this
i want money which i will give on daily bases
Hi,

I recently shifted base from Mumbai to Delhi and managed to get a rented house in alaknanda.I work in a BPO and usually reach home by 3 or 4 in the morning. On 19th April'2011 when i reached my place I saw the door was open and my house was in a mess and I realized that this is a case of robbery. I called 100 number and the police was there in 10 mins. I did not lose much of my stuff, so it was all fine for. the next morning I walked up my neighbors to inform them about the incident and get some information if they had some. I requested then to contributed 100/- per month to get a security gaurd from 1900 to 0700 from a private security CO as it would be safe for eceryone in the vicinity.

they just shook their heads in the meeting and nothing has been done so far. I guess they are still waiting for something more to happen before they take any action.

The point is that there are more then 70 flats and all are well to do families. 100/- per month shouldn't be a hit to their pocket I guess. Trust you me, if it would have been Mumbai for this matter things would have in place by now.

Warm regards,
Gurnam Singh.
let me tell you guys what exactly is the problem. the people here only know how to talk rubbish. they r the biggest losers in this world. when it comes 2 real things, they just pull down their tails inside like a dog. such kind of people shud be taken to the jungles and left in front of lions. i[censored] require a helping help, they know how 2 say NO. never expect any help from people here. they will remain like this their whole life and they are proud of it. few exceptions can b there i know but only a rare few. delhi people suck yaar...the general public can derive great pleasure in watching an accident, but when it comes to helping them...they back out..So, Neelam...try 2 gather a few frnds whom u can trust during such troubles bcoz frankly these people wud never want 2 see u happy...ur happiness ruins their night's sleep... thaths all i can say as i m also a resident of DDA Flats, kalkaji for the last 3 years...

To the lady in the top( neelam ), Mam i would suggest u that this time u have to take a stand. Yaar is tarah where ever we shift someone or the other will have problem from us. That does not mean that we ll run to cops or to landlord. Seriously make the damage n than contact these party's. And the way u mentioned about car seems like you don't drive that very much. Try to park your car in the middleof the parking and that way's it wont trouble the fellow neighbours. Even i stay in a rented house and its like three family's in 1 building. But when ever i have an oppertunity, i try to help my neighbours and woh fir mujhae meri Car he move kyo na karni ho. I dont mind doin that. And han I am staying in NOIDA n believe me this place is worst than Kalka ji. All the rascals are from NOIDA. because i have experienced both of the places. Keep it in mind 1 Park your car in a manner that it wont trouble anyone else, 2 Make sure u great with the people around with a big smile ( whenever u shift to a new property ), because that will give the an understanding. 3 Goverment alloted those flats to Dhobi's n Chamar's, they r the least educated people on this planet. They will behave that way's because they want to prove that they r permanent residents ( OWNER ) of there relevant property's + they are the most insecured people here in this nation. To kill there insecurity, Do puchkaro them like DOG's.

Hey Neelam, even I'm staying in kalkaji d.d.a. flats since 18 years.. your problem is absolutely agreeable.. please don't be afraid of such stupid jerks.. even we had several fights regarding car parking.. moreover someone stole our car's E.C.M. and battery during night time.. it will be better for you to take an appropriate stand.. do not let them dominate you.. Better if you launch complaint against them or else fight for your right.. even we did that ;-).. I sincerely hope that you get problem to your solution..
