Hope my issue will be addressed through this forum, I have come here after sending several mails to Airtel and calling more than 50 times to airtel customer care, which is outsourced to the third party , they don’t understand English and i have to repeat the same thing again and again.
I have been using airtel services for the past 5 years, I am having a postpaid connection, I am having an unlimited data plan.in the month of may 2013, i received a call from Airtel, she advised me to move to a plan where i could save money and get more calls and also she advised me to move to 1gb plan , i was ok with the calling plan however updated her than i need unlimited data plan and i don’t want to change it at all , more over I told her that I am in a Do not call list. She insisted me to take the plan and told me that as i am always using less than 1gb every month you will not be over billed, to that i have clearly explained her that i need an unlimited plan and i was ok with the calling plan, In the month of Aug my data services got blocked, and they asked to pay INR 4000 to resume my data services, I tried calling several time to AP Airtel call center however it was landing in Karnataka call center and they requested me to call AP call center to resolve the issue. Several times I tried but it reached Karnataka call center. I did pay the amount because i needed the data services as i was in roaming and need to access my business mails, after paying the INR 4000, my outstanding bill came to INR 3000+, I called Airtel call center and explained the issue as it was a sheer misrepresentation and miss selling on the part of the Airtel sales executive. I have requested time and again to reimburse my INR 7000 or adjust in my coming bills; however i have not heard from them at all. Several times i called them but i hear only one voice, we will get back to you, and it has been escalated and we will call you back.this is happening from last two weeks. First couple of calls they never lodged my complaint. I want a senior management calling from Airtel and resolving my issues, they can check my record, i have been paying all my bills much prior to the bill due date and been a loyal customer, this is how they treat a loyal customer. I want the entire bill to waive off and i need to be paid for my mental stress and agony what i have gone through for their utmost UN customer centric approach. I always had high regards for Airtel but with this experience i will tell all my employees to go with any other provider but not Airtel. I want the issue to address at the earliest. Empty spoons feed none, action is better than words.
