On 26the DEC 2011 I received an sms
"welcome to dining plus offer. Your credit card has been debited for rs. 5499/-. For any queries call @[protected] or write to us at [protected]@shifttheoughts.Com." I was shocked to get thee sms and remembered 2 days back I got call from a telecaller
informing me of being entitled for a gift, which will be dispatched soon, and he in turn asked me my personal information and asked my credit card no. To register for thee gift,
I was reluctant to produce the number, but he convinced me and said me that sharing the number will cause no problem. And got my number and told that I would be receiving the gift soon.
I immediately contacted ICICI customer care no and asked to stop the payment who told that the transaction already done, I asked them to revert it as it was not authorised one. They told to contact the vendor(dining plus)for that. I don't know how my banker on whom I had so much of blind-faith has passed the transaction without any OTP or other security measures. Do they have some tie-ups with these frauds?
I contacted the given phone number of dining plus, and asked about the transaction who were reluctant to accept that I have not made any transaction and told us that they have thee voice recording of the transaction and will email the same to me. But I am yet to receive the same from the concerned.
In the following days I received a small kit containing the card and booklets bearing card no[protected] from dining plus, which is of no use for me.
I am a retired person and my month's budget is around 6000/- Which I get from my son & daughter, why should I opt for such a dining plus offer? when I cant even afford to go to road side restaurant?
where from I would get such amount? I need immediate redressal, please help me to get justice.
