I bought a saree from the Bollywood series item code FG12331 for 278.00 USD. The product that I got was of really really cheap quality and bears absolutely no resemblence to what is shown on their website.

Extremely rude customer service as well. This business needs to be shut down. I guess even if they get 4 or 5 suckers every month they will continue to steal your money.
Wish I had googled for "dmi-india review" before my purchase.

I ordered 6 sarees and 1 pants suit for my wedding, little did i know there are crooks in the world who give you something that is said to be bollywood pieces and they show up as $20 material that you paid $300 a piece for. Please Please do not buy from them, you will be unhappy. Not only that it takes 2 months, and when it comes it is delivered by someone who picked it up from the airport package with only a plastic bag...so much for their courier...so unprofessional...no wonder there are no hidden costs. Please don't make the same mistake I did.

I also had the same experience. Ordered a $800 lehenga from them for my wedding. It came and was such poor quality and horrible workmanship that I would not pay $50 for it in a store. If looked nothing like the picture. I would be happy even if it didn't match the picture as long as it was pretty, but this was hideous. Absolutely UGLY. It was also made about 3 sizes too small and they did not follow any of my instructions on the cut of the blouse. The blouse was cut so low that it shows almost all of my chest and looks obscene and definitely not something a respectable girl would wear to her wedding. Also, they added a weird blue triangle on the front and back of the skirt (not in the picture) and the triangle outlines my female private part. It looks so embarrassing that I can't possible wear it. I showed my sister and friends and they even said how embarrassing it was. They will not refund my money or even offer to fix the size so that I can wear it.

I just got scammed by dmi-india.com as well. They sent me completely horrible and unwearable pieces that were nothing like what was promised. I complained to PayPal who is investigating them. I also reported them to the Better Business Bureau. You can also send in complaints to IC3.gov and maybe this company will finally get the bad reputation it deserves.

dmi doesnot deliver what it promises. Beware...I ordered $350 suit and very cheap materials were used probably dmi spent less than $50 CAN. you are wasting your money and time by placing your order with dmi...it's a rip off...THIS IS A FRAUD BUSINESS WHICH MUST BE STOPPED
Absolutely rubbish! I ordered a lace sari (Celina New Lace) from dmi-india and I had to put it straight into the bin! it is not even wearable. What a waste! The lace was nothing like the lace shown in the picture and the sewing was horrible! The lace and material was the cheapest you could find and it was already fraying and there were stains on it??? Don't buy from them! I wish I would have read these reviews! now I'm out £330 and still have no wedding dress! I can't even use the material for anything else!
@ RESPECT 2010 - Can you please stick to reviewing the website rather than making broad generalisations about muslims. Do as your name suggests and show some respect. Incidentally...if you engage the half a brain cell i'm crediting you with, then i think you'll find Shyamal Mitra is not Muslim.
