DNA Bangalore — Too many false rumors about the newspaper

Hi,
This is regarding the subsciption to DNA. I have myself paid for the newspaper. I did because I had seen the newspaper while travelling to Bombay. It is a good newspaper and I am glad they are launching in our city too. I especially like their columns. So why if it is delayed? I have the proof with me. I also called their new office in Brunton Road. If anyone wants any clarification they can call them at 42868888.

I have also given a cheque for DNA newspaper. Man, afterall it is only Rs.301. That is only the cost of lunch for two people in the silicon valley of India. I have started visiting their website of Mumbai edition. They have also put up a separate thing for Bangalore edition.
this surely means that they have got people and have started the show going. Now that is only a matter of few weeks before they start publishing from here.

Hi, I was also upset on not getting the copy of the newspaper on the promised date. But I checked with the people concerned at their office in MG Road and they said they will be coming out soon and will intimate me as soon as they fix a date.
I think it is a newspaper worth waiting for. I am keen to see their Money section.

I called up their new office in Brunton Road at 42868888. The place has just been set up and they told me that the paper will be out by December. Lets not be too harsh on these guys...atleast for the believe hoardings they put up...DNA sure is worth the wait. December or November it will have something believable in it.

Ive just moved to Bangalore from Mumbai and Ive jsut about managed to read some of the stuff that gets printed here including the Times and believe me it SUCKS big time. I believe there is a chunky space for a good newspaper and if DNA believes that way then I guess its worth subscribing too. The service does suck but the guys at their mumbai office promise something better this time. Der aaye lekin duroost aayE.

For 300 bucks its literally free...what more do you want.

These are just rumours
I have faith in a newspaper group which has years of journalism behind them. Bhaskar is well known in north India and I have seen the newspaper in Mumbai.
It is a paper that we can except to deliver. It may be delayed. Look at Nano, it will now be delayed. Moreover, a friend in the media said the newspaper has recruited about 100 journalists in various capacities and this is a sure sign of thier coming out soon.
He also said that it will come out before the year is out.
So, don't just write them off yet.

Sharanya said it! what can you buy for Rs.300? Your DTH costs you Rs.300 or more per month. How much money do you spend for chatting with friends on your mobile or having a drink.
For Rs.301 you will get year round news and entertainment. i still love the feel of newspaper and the smell of the printing ink with my morning cuppa.
From the newspaper website I found that it is a diffrent breed altogether. So why not wait for a month more and see what they are going to serve. Don't subscribe to magazines for more than this amount for a whole year? Well, it is all in your DNA

It is true that DNA is yet to start delivery of their newspaper. And they had said it would start in October. But it has been delayed. But you do not lose any money because you have a year's subscription any way. And that too at RS301. and other priveleges too. I contacted their office and they said it would start printing at the most by December. So let us with hopes.
If you have access to internet you can go to their websie and see their Bangalore stories. That is proof enough that they are coming soon

I want to assure people here that although DNA Bangalore is delayed a bit they will soon hit the market. I called up the office to find out. I am sure our money is in safe hands. And it is a cool rate at that too.
I am sure it is worth the wait.

i agree with all the comments said above. But DNA agents told the customers they were going to deliver it from Oct 3rd week onwards. Though they are good at this business, if they are not ready to keep their promise, they have to put a note on some popular news papers that they will arrive at some date. It will stop all the nonsense rumours.

The more professional approach in this case would have been to communicate all the initial subscribers of the delay in the launch. For me its not a matter of money but professionalism is what I was expecting from their behalf.

Delaying the launch without any intimation is not helping their cause in any way.

Just to cool down the nerves of the people the site already has a bangalore section at http://www.dnaindia.com/bangalore Not sure if it is linked from anywhere from the main site (like the Mumbai section).

Subscribed news paper not delivered regularly. It was a biggest mistake to take DNA news paper. Because you will not get the newspaper daily. You will subscribe newspaper not because its cheap, you want newspaper to know whats happening daily around the world. After seeing newspaper advertisement all over bangalore we thought it will be good newspaper. But there is no one to contact even if you do not receive newspaper. If you try to contact their call centre to register complain, you will never get the opportunity to talk to them. So finally I called up Mr. John to tell my problem, his suggested me to contact newspaper vendor for this issue. - which I already did before calling him.

hi this khutubuddin from Bangalore, i was worked in DNA as team leader, north division in yelahanka zone, this DNA guys are promised with us if we done good they will appoint us permanently, but i was a top most team leader and performance also good in yelahanka zone but they hired employees from mumbai this not fare which DNA has cheated with us y it happened like this i need answer from u as soon as possible if possible today itself.
