given only 8 sessions and refused further sessions provided the weight is reduced on your own I have lost 12000 Rs i have asked for conversion to fixed sessions without expecting any results I am 59 kgs and wanted to reduce 3 kgs but the request has been denied as of now till granted by the so called doctor BEWARE before joining
Thank you Fitness Highway for starting with new advance weight loss technology. I had lost some kgs 5 years back with local slimming centre, but all the weight came back after the treatment. Then after my delivery, one day I read about Fitness Highway & its new technology. I was doubtful whether Vela Wt loss treatment would work on me, but they gave me the results they had promised. The best part here is that they don’t send you back without the session, even if your wt is up by 200 – 300gms. This had happened number of times with me, inspite of wt being up, they had given me the session. I can’t believe that I lost 10 kgs in 2- 2.5 mths with Vela wt loss, which had not happened anytime with any of the treatments that I went through.

Bhavna Shah's center is the worst experience of professionalism. She is the biggest cheater I have ever come across. Till the time you give them money they promise u sun & moon. After receiving money they are least interested in your health or results. My 50k was complete waste & have not got any result but frustration of being cheated. Please don't pay to her. I totally disagree with both of you. My name is Meena Patel. I am A member of fitness highway since 4 years and i have lost 23.5kgs and lost many inches all over body. My maintenance sessions are going on and i am very happy with Dr. Bhavana Shah and her staff. Dr. Bhavana Shah is thorough professional. I wish her luck and all the best to help all the ladies !!!

Losing that extra flab around your tummy seems like a cakewalk, if advertisements in a leading city tabloid are anything to go by. A misleading advertisement published on May 2 led to state Food and Drug Administration (FDA) officials to file an FIR against Dr Bhavana Shah, who runs weight-loss clinics by the name Fitness Highway in the western suburbs.
The advertisement mentions that their weight-loss techniques are ‘FDA approved’. On seeing the ad, FDA officials began probing into the workings of Shah’s clinics. Two women FDA officials were then sent to Shah’s clinic in Andheri (West) as decoy customers looking to lose weight.
“It is shocking to see that Dr Shah has been making such false claims. The state FDA has no jurisdiction in such matters, of approving weight-loss techniques, ” said Sanjay Kale, joint commissioner, vigilance, FDA.
One of the FDA officials who had posed as a decoy customer said, “The weight-loss packages explained by a dietician were very expensive, priced anywhere between Rs10, 000 and Rs35, 000 or more. The clinic accepts
only down payment before beginning the treatment.” Later, five
drug inspectors, including
the two decoys, went to inspect the clinic.
FDA officials then filed an FIR against Shah under the Drugs and Magic Remedies Act, 1954 (objectionable advertisements), at Amboli police station on Friday. According to the Act, drugs or treatment claiming to cure up to 51 ailments, including obesity, HIV, diabetes and cancer, cannot be published or telecast in the media.
“We are contemplating booking the clinic and its proprietors under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code for cheating the public. An FIR has been filed and investigations are underway, ” said Shrikant Jadhav, duty officer at Amboli police station.
The FDA has also slapped a notice on Shah’s clinic demanding to know who published the ad. “We also demand to know if Dr Shah has technical data and proofs of the claims being advertised — losing 10kg through a VELA machine, ” said an FDA official.
When dna called the clinic posing as a customer, the receptionist explained, “We conduct weight loss and inch loss through use of VELA machine. Multiple electric pads of the machine are fitted on to the body which work through areas of fat. Each session consists of 45 minutes.”
Numerous women have thronged a consumer awareness website www.consumercomplaints.in to complain about the clinic’s techniques.
While Shah was unavailable for comment, branch head at the Andheri Clinics, identified as Lavita, said, “The FDA inspectors had come for investigation. There is no proof of the allegations made against us. Let the law take its own course.”

Dr Bhavna Shah and her team are bunch of rude !! I feel this institute should be banned as soon as possible. The lady I met so called Dr.Lavita is too a trained cheat. I had met her and asked for my refund money she said its not possible, talk to Dr. Bhavna Shah. Everytime I met her she tried to be a sweet talker and said she will talk to her boss and revert to me..I told her that I have moved into Marketing and will be travelling all across India and it would not be possible for me to resume.. And when I met both Dr. Lavita & Dr. Shah they said its not possible to refund money and I have to utilise it.
Also the dieticians are horrible and they send you back if there is a increase in your weight.Why the hell should we go back when we are pay our money?????? And they keep gossiping with each other and support each other when we and are least bothered. When I had joined no one had mentioned there is a time frame but when i asked for refund they started saying your time is about to expire and I was shocked for life!! I believe all are involved in this money making racket!

Hello Friends, this is Meenakshi, i had good experience in Fitness Highway.After reading upper cooments, i want to say that, its our trainers who help us in loosing our weight, but its us who needs to give complete attention to the Do's and Don't.One side we do trainings and on the other side we eat unhygenic food.So we are suppose t6o loose weight.
I had listened to trainers in fitness highway strictly and followed their diet chart full tightly.I got good results.

This meenakshi kiran, in one review is saying that she is a satisfied client of Bhavna shah and just above that comment, she is acting as customer care officer of Bhavna shah and giving the phone number and email id of fitness highway, and asking people to call her/ email her the complaints. Do they think, that all people in this world are fools.
There are thousands of complaints against this clinic in Police station. As posted by one person in the above page, even FDA has taken action against this FRAUD Center. Also i have come to know while google searching, that ASCI - advertising standards council of India, has also banned the advertisement of Bhavna shah fitness highway for making false claims and misguiding the customers. check the below links.

I was sceptical after reading some negative reviews but my last 2 months of experience with Dr Bhavna Shah was outstanding. I was treated well and the tummy tucks were really effective. I have been recommending it to my friends as well.

I had gone to Fitness Highway (Andheri Branch) and met Dr. Bhavana Shah for my weight problem. She suggested certain weight reducing measures without any medicines. After two sessions I had to discontinue as I had to go on a short term assignment to USA. Dr. Bhavana Shah understood the emergency and agreed to continue the sessions after my return, without charging extra. When I returned, Fitness Highway resumed the sessions. Now, I am five kilos lighter. Personally, I do not think that they cheat people out of their money as made out in a complaint on this website. If they did want to cheat, they could easily have quoted the rules and said that resumption is not possible. So I do not agree with the complaint. My experience is totally different and good.

Three months ago, my 20 year old daughter and I went to Fitness Highway at Khar because my daughter was overweight. Dr. Bhavana Shah was around the Reception room and personally took us to the examination room. After examination, Dr. Bhavana Shah explained that my daughter was not overweight but obese. I did not understand what she meant but she patiently explained the difference between overweight and obese. A line of treatment was suggested along with a diet chart by the expert in-house nutritionist. Now my daughter is progressively reducing weight. I think the problem is that we all want overnight results but it does not happen that way. Progress in weight reduction is always steady. So do not expect results overnight but follow instructions. That is important. Now my daughter is gaining confidence every day. I thank Dr. Bhavana Shah and her team for restoring confidence in my daughter.
I would like to relate my experience with Fitness Highway. Unlike others, my experience has been very satisfying. I had initially gone to reduce my weight because I looked fat. However, I was examined personally by Dr. Bhavana Shah who told me that my weight was within limits though it was nearer the upper limit and that I was not overweight. What I needed was tucks which would make me look more in shape. I got back in shape with minimal tucks. I think what worked in my favour was the correct advice that was given. Although I had not asked, I was also given nutritional tips on how to retain my body shape. Anyway, I got great advice, great treatment and a great body.

My sincere thanks to dr. bhavana shah and her team to help me regain back my confidence. My story dates one year back when i started gaining weight after undergoing multiple cycles of ivf. i was both physically and mentally going through tough time.
