We are buying our LPG cylinders through Dwarka Indane Service, K 1 / 4, Rajapuri, Opposite Sec- 5, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110059. We ordered a LPG cylinder few weeks back and got an SMS on June 20, 2011 stating our LPG cylinder has been delivered, which in fact was not the case. The person came to deliver the LPG cylinder on June 25, 2011 and he was carrying a receipt of June 20, 2011 which had charges mentioned as INR 345 (He somehow managed to get a rubber stamp of INR 396 on the top of the bill). He was insisting the new charge of INR 396. We refused him to pay additional unauthorized charges as the computerized bill mentioned only INR 345. He left and came back again same day evening stating the Agency is saying OK to deliver the cylinder as per the charges (INR 345) mentioned on invoice. Today June 27, 2011, they are again calling up and are asking for more INR 50 payment and also mentioned that we can complain to whosoever we want.
They are producing a bill dated June 20, 2011 with an amount of INR 345 and are harassing us to pay INR 396. Is it lawful? Do we need to pay more? Was this information helpful? |
