My train Got Cancelled on 24/07/10 from Goa to Mumbai & i filled Refund application on 27/07/10 (PNR no.[protected]) & sent atleast 6 reminders to IRCTC customer service & have called IRCTC office on[protected] many times but every time i have been told to call up after 7-15 days an enquire but till date nothing is been done . Although its only Rs. 700 Plus refund but this is not the way the raiways should work .Pls look in to this matter as this is manmany by Railways .

Indian Railways — Non-receipt of Refund against cancelled E-tickets, un-processed e-ticket
Sir,My account has not been credited with refund amount by Indian Railways as under:
1. I have cancelled two e-tickets vide PNR Nos.[protected] and
[protected] on 08.03.2008. After cancellation, I checked
status of PNR and it was confirmed that the tickets stand
cancelled. The cancellation proceeds was supposed to be
credited to my bank account. BUT THE AMOUNT HAS NOT
BEEN CREDITED EVEN AFTER A LAPSE OF ONE DAY.
2. I have booked an e-ticket on 08.03.2008 vide reference No:
[protected]. The booking of ticket could not be processed
but the booking amount (cost of ticket plus charges) have
been debited to my bank account. Message was appeared that
booking could not be processed due to communication
problem, the amount will be refunded. BUT THE AMOUNT SO
DEBITED TO MY ACCOUNT HAS NOT BEEN REFUNDED TO ME BY
CREDIT TO BANK ACCOUNT.
PLEASE LOOK IN TO MY COMPLAINT.
