Kindly be informed, we have received several similar cases in the past few months whereby innocent victims are tricked into thinking that they have parcels containing currencies being sent to them from overseas. However, the parcel is said to be "stuck" with the Malaysian Customs and certain fee has to be paid in order to get the parcel released from us. This is a scam. The Royal Malaysian Customs would NOT confiscate parcels which are on transit. Furthermore, parcels which are on transit from one country to another, does not leave the loading premises, to begin with. Therefore, it's baseless for one to say the parcel is stuck with the Malaysian Customs. The name and address of the courier company listed in your e-mail is non-existant to the Royal Malaysian Customs Department. They normally find their victims through the internet (via chat / tag) and befriend them for about one or two months before convincing them (the victims), that things in the form of gifts and currencies would be sent to them. After about one or two weeks, the culprit's accomplice would contact the victims on the pretext of being a courier company's agent, and inform the victims that the parcel they are awaiting for has been detained by the Malaysian Customs. They would then try to extort as much money from the victims as they can. These are just stories created by the con-men to cheat their victims. They would even create websites on their own making it look as though there’s a parcel pending for collection. Any form of payment made to them is NOT transacted to the Malaysian Customs Department at all. These unscrupulous people would abscond as soon as they receive the money. We strongly advice you NOT TO MAKE ANY PAYMENT TO THEM. If payment has already been made, please contact your local police station or the Royal Malaysian Police Force at Bukit Aman via e-mail at [protected]@rmp.gov.my to lodge a complaint.Thank you.

They are asking to transfer INR 35000 to release the parcel
They are asking to transfer the amount of INR35500 to release the parcel. Mr. Sam Jonas from London are saying that parcel contains expensive gifts. He is insisting me to transfer the amount in some personal account on the name of Mr. Arjun Rana from Delhi to release the parcel ASAP. Is this true please help me
