[Resolved]  Gangar Eyenation — Not giving credit note

I had chosen frame for my mother at Gangar's Kandiwali Lokhandwala store and has given them advance of Rs. 3000/-. Subsequently, during eye checking i came to know that my mother had a cataract and need to get operated for it. Therefore I postponed the making of glasses and requested them to refund the money. However, they refused and on the option of giving credit note, it was informed to me that credit note has to be utilised within 15 days itself. My mother will be getting operated after 4 months. In this situation, Gangar Eyenation has refused to either refund my money or give a credit note which can be utilised within a reasonable period of time. This is really ridiculous with a shop of such know brand in Eyewear. The Sales person was Mr. Irshan Shaikh and the Manager of the store is Mr. Mehul. No customer service and very rude behavious.

I have been suffering from vision problems, ever since I purchased spectacles from Gangar eye nation, Koperkhakrane, Navi Mumbai, they are not ready to change my spectacles glasses, neither I get proper customer service from the store, I have been asking for their manager call back since 4 weeks, visited the store more then 10 times, given my complaint in writing, also sent email, still they don't bother to resolve my problem, instead asking me to pay for other spectacles lenses those can resolve my vision problems, Check the below mentioned statement I sent to Gangar eye nation:
I purchased spectacles on 28/09/2014 from your Koperkhairane outlet, which was collected by me on 06/10/2014, however I was facing issues with the side vision, everything looks like curve(example- pliers), when I complaint on 08/10/2014 your representative asked me to leave the spectacles at the store, they sent it to laboratory, after 2 day they called me, I visited the store, but the problem was not resolved, this happened 5-6 times, eventually they changed the frame stating that due to bigger than the frame I was wearing, I had the vision issues, still the problem was not resolved, on 21/10/2014, the representative informed me that the lenses are thicker than the old spectacles lenses, there is index issue, I had been wearing 1.67 index lenses, the new one is on 1.5, which costs rs. 8800, when I asked why I was not informed about they index issues at the time of purchase, they don't have any answers, now I want compensation of this situation I have gone through, I also spoke with your area head name Vipul, he told me that only 25% compensation can be given on the lenses, but I want either 40% compensation, or 25% on the total purchase amount of new spectacles with proper lenses plus you adjust the amount of the old thick lenses of Rs. 2350, they are denying this, I also requested Vipul for higher authorities call back, but they never called me, please look in to this issue, it's high time now, I already wasted a lot of time and money for the follow up, instead you should keep proper follow up, I am loosing my petitions, gonna go to police station to file a complaint, I will also involve media people in this case, II will just wait till this Monday
