m also offered by this NGO with good package, and about to join from this monday.they also mailed me offer letter.but after reading all this comment m very confused wat to do?bcoz i also investigate about this Ngo from some people who r doing PHD from tata cancer institute, dey gave me positive feedback.but after reading all this m scared, can anybudy help me out.

I wish I had read all this before I agreed to join the company. I was surprised when they asked me nothing relevant in the interview and agreed to pay me Rs. 40, 000 pm - this was at par with my previous drawn salary. (I have about 6+ years experience in the best BPO of India). They did not inform me of anything that I would be required to do - like going from shop to shop and home to home asking people for donation. All I was told was that there would be a 3 month training period and then I would be made the Branch Manager. I agreed to the training as I thought that the training would be different for an NGO (silly me). On the very first day, I was asked to totter off with another girl and we went to the market at Andheri Station from one shop to the other. This confused me and when I asked her she said "this is only the training period and once this is over you do not have to do all this foot work". I did not like the idea and so the next day, I suggested to the 'Center Head" of doing things differently - like approaching corporates and other companies and making presentations to them. Not surprisingly she did not like my idea! Further to add - the girl I went with on my first day was meeting the people and telling them that she needed to raise Rs. 25, 000 that very day to save the girl (she had a big folder with her in which the girls photo, the doctors cost sheet etc. were there). This was a lie, she only told me, which they were using to urge people to pay up money.
Even if they are distributing this money to the appropriate people, their modus operandi is not right. Further you can not expect everyone to be able to do this foot work and then promote everyone as a branch manager. Besides me, there were about 10 other girls who were selected including a taxi driver's wife who could not even fill up the form(surprisingly there were no men in the organisation doing this). I only spent 1.5 days there and am glad am out of the whole mess.
Anyone who is thinking of joining the organisation be very sure that you are up for doing this kind of "begging". That's all I can say.

These have kept my salary on hold since last month. Initially they say that you will get a fixed pay. After around 20 days they tell you about your target of 1 lakh per month anf if you fail to collect that much amount they will deduct your salary with heavy duty. And more over these managers of GLOBAL VISION So called CANCER CARE NGO, send messages to their employees late night at 12 pm saying "SHAME ON YOU GUYS, TEAM HAS COLLECTED VERY LESS AMOUNT TODAY. YOU SHOULD FEEL ASHAMED OF YOURSELF". These FB's are bloody greedy dogs. They give training to their employees on how to curse people if they refuse to make any kind of donation saying "I know your company is a cheat the kid is not in existance any more".

i totally agree wid shweta610... coz i have gone through the same thing...exactly the same experience...i was bieng sent to some bhiwandi area for fund raising...it was pathetic...

and i also agree wid pooja singh puri...media is the best way to expose this NGO...

hey i got a call for interview now m scared even to go der... m just a graduate and they are offering asst manager post... it was so weird...now i will not go der...thank god i read all this

Yesterday had a yound impressionable girl walk into my office making the same pitch of the last day for the cancer child to live if we did not donate money. they were ready to take even 10 Rs at the end of the meeting. What a waste of time for these young girls who are being trained to beg and use their good looks to open the purse strings. I hope the police wake up to this FAKE NGO. Now they are making their way in Bangalore after making their moolah in mumbai & hyderabad. Bangaloreans - watch out & beware. Students - stay far far away from joining this organization & tarnishing your careers. It is nothing to put on your resume...instead it makes you'll look foolish falling for their scam.

I have only know Global Vision NGO by Name, But have a Cousin and best Friend who had Worst Experiences working with the Co. as they said the Team Manager has no Professionalism to talk, She snatches away personal phones and utters slang and Physical Abuses.I dont think a NGO is so cruel to Eat money of People who struggle places to places daily collecting funds for charity.

This scam is same as the COBRA group which solicits for donations using the photos of the sick & dead people. The modus operandi is using girls to collect donations in the name of curing cance. Wish that TV9 could put a sting operation in place to catch these folks red handed misusing the daily collections. I have heard from the girls working there, that the HR lady pockets the entire collection - all cash, and gives a paltry sum of 100/200 Rs for all the days work. If you are working there, you're being sucked dry each day with nothing to show for it at the end of the month. I heard that brainwashing & harrasment of these girls is going on a daily basis with high % of people leaving the GLOBAL VISION NGO within days of joining it.

Hi Every One, Don't Talk Any Thing Bool Sheet About Global Vision Because I Walk In Global Vision Since Last 2 Year's With Under Mr Vishnu Adhikar From Kurla Branch And Now Left Global Vision . This All Complaint's Are Fake . Global Vision Cancer Care NGO Is A Very Very Good Trust . What Ever Fund's Volunteer Are Collecting From People It's Go Right Hand . Because, I Know Very Well About The Global Vision .

Next Time Don't Write Any Thing About The Global Vision Cancer Care NGO . You People Then Watch .

I totally disagree to wat they hav told, global vision is the worst ngo u no they cheat girls telling that they will gv good hike and salary and at the end of the month if they have promised 30k they will gv u 7k, it is completely on target basis I was shocked and for the 1st time I saw sumwhere that salary is based on target, chi shame on ppl who actually play, i m sending my number also i[censored] r having ny doubt gals call me up [protected]

Who ever wrote the feedback on behalf of Global Vision firstly needs to check his or her English, grammar and language. Your lack of basic English language knowledge shows that you are trying to make up for the lost image of the Company. This is Global Vision NGO is a sheer fraudulent company. It recruits people on the pretext of making them Branch Managers or Marketing Managers and tells them that they will head a branch. After the person joins, the person is informed to make rounds to various Corporate Firms, Government Offices, and residential areas with the so called 'Seniors' from their office to collect donations. Well since Global Vision is also a so called 'NGO', collecting donations for patients is their right, but Global Vision makes their employees collect donations by lying to the persons they are asking for help. Like the recruits of the company are told to inform the people they seek donations from that they are management students from various College across Mumbai and students use famous names like Jamnalal Bajaj, Narsee Monjee, Wellingkar, NM, and many more. In the bargain what happens is that donors make donations for the so called 'Cancer Patients that are being funded by Global Vision' by falling prey to the sweet talks by the employees pf Global Vision, who are posing as innocent students from well-known colleges. I feel that these Colleges should also be informed that their well-established names are being put to shame by such companies with fradulent identity.

this is horrible i got selected in the interview and i was about to join from tomorrow but now... they told me that i am selected as their branch manager and that i'll be having 3 months training... i am totally confused.. plz help me wat to do?? i want to know more about it..

I enquired about the group and the management which is highly making business out off sympathy. They do have some illegal and anti social activities which are kept behind the screen.

Young girls are trained as cosmo begging professionalist, who are sustaining with the ill treat of the management are bing highly paid for no reason, At one stage those girls being used even for FUN for high standard people to grab more funds directly and indirectly. lumpsum of the funds are shared to such girls who doesnot even know that they are being used as a tool and highly spoiled..

Upon complete investigation about the group I have raised complaint with RDO and hope the same is getting through indirectly, sooner the picture will be in lime light.

To my surprise, this is the very first time ever in my life when i have thought of knowing about a certain company through this medium "consumer complaints, to my shock i am so cared i cant tell you...after seeing the website, i dont know why i had a strange feeling of just knowing about this company a bit, Somehow i was not get getting positive vibes, and to my surprise, i read all this about the company, i straight away called my friends with whom i was planning to go for an interview tommorrow for this very company, god m so damn scared, i dont know what to say, its like ...i never ever in my life had thought this is what i would have to ever come across, and i will make sure that me and my friends dont go tommorow for this interview...I am really scared, and dont know whats wrongs and right, i only dont understand one thing y there has not been taken any action against this company as yet.

p.s. its true that they were asking for female freshers !!! YYYYY dont know... GOD SAVE US !!! I HATE THIS !!!

I am scared now, , , , , , i and some of my friends were planning to go for the interview tomorrow, i am so confused now...Is this all true, mene kabi life me nai socha tha ki aisa bi hota hai...m speechless, May God Help Us if this is true.

Got a chance to join in HR profile. Unfortunatly attended the interview and cleared. Consecunces starded with the joing process, just after joing I was assigned a work to visit a client place with one of the collegue and wrongly communicated that go for training and based on this only my salery will be decided and said not to worry that in extreme case also i will be drawing a good amount.
As soon I realised a fishy I took a you turn.

All bakwaas, guys just be aware with such a frawd, save your time and money.
