I had shipped certain pesonal furniture from India to the US. I was quoted Rs.55000 as full and final amount at the time of shipping. The destination agent in the US M/s. CaroTrans (www.carotrans.com) has now sent me an invoice for an addtional amount of $1200 as charges due at the time of collection. When I contacted the GlobeLinkWW representative, they say it is standard fee that we are expected to pay. They dont give any explanation for not mentioning this at the time of shipment. I have been in contact with them on a daily bais all through the past 4 months and they never mentioned about this cost. No one in the company cares to respond by mail/phone and now I am left with no choice but to pay else lose the goods and the money aready paid. This is straight cheating as they were fully aware of th costs all along and chose to hide it from me up until this time. The destination company CaroTrans, say that this is very comon complaint from customers shipping thru GlobelinkWW,. Was this information helpful? |
