[Resolved]  Godrej Refrigerator GFE 25 AD EON — Troubleshoot within warranty period

I Sandeep Kumar Bose, R/o B 14/116 A, Mansarover, Opposite: Kedar Ghat Post Office, Distt.Varanasi-221001 purchased a double door Gfe 25AD Godrej Refrigerator EON from the local dealer M/s Panchavati Co., Bhelupura, Varanasi on[protected] vide receipt no.Cash/3863 with high expectation in view of esteemed company. Two or three months ago, the motor fan of the Regrigeration get locked resulting not proper cooling. On complaint to the dealer, they simply provide the local service centre number and advised to get lodged complaint to the service centre directly. I failed to understand that once the goods has been purchased from the dealer, they have no business with the customer for post part maintenence of the product. Anyway, I complaint to the local service centre viz. M/s Poonam Electronics, Sigra, Varanasi directly. They respond in quick session and send their mechanic. As per the report of the mechanic, the motor fan was replaced with a new one. It hardly passed 2 months, again the motor fan of the Refrigerator stop working. Once again, I complaint to the local service centre and now a new mechanic(other than the first one namely Mr.Rahul) has attend the complaint on yesterday i.e.Monday 11th July 2011. He made the following observations:
the said Refrigerator has some technical problem for which it is now even not cooling. The same has to be checked at our workshop. There has been noticed to be gas leakage also. I have no option to give my consent for taking out the Refrigerator to workshop. I have been told that the Refrigerator will be taken to their workshop on today and it will take minimum 2-3 days for proper checking/repairing. Now just imagine my situation in view of weather of now a days. I am feeling myself get betrayed for purchasing a product of such a esteemed company. On complaining to the local dealer regarding the problem, they provide a Cell No.[protected] of Shri Manas, probably Service Executive of Godrej Company. I try to contact him from my Cell No.[protected] not less than 4-5 times, but failed. I just want to know the following from the company:
-is there any policy of the company to replace the iwhole item instead of its parts keeping in mind of the fact that the Refrigerator is in trouble within 7 months of its purchase
-if yes, what are procedures to be followed by the customer
-what sort to action to be taken by the company against the dealer for its irresponsible attitude where they have no business with the customer once the goods has been purchased
-whether the dealer has no responsibility in whatsoever condition, once the goods has been purchased
-finally, in my case what action the company is going to take so that goodwill of Godrej company may keep intact amongst people of this country

I am looking forward for an quick response from the Company.

Godrej Refrigerator — no servicing of goods even in warranty period

sir,
I have annoyed by godrej company because my refrigerator compressor is out of order and i have register complain in their company still there is no action from there since 5 days. Also comressor is in warranty period. Please take necessary action against godrej company as soon as possible.

sir, i have complaint about my refrigerator compressor, since 1 1/2 months, but there is no responce about my complaint.The compressor is covering gaurantee period.Till yet there is no responce.Please see this matter
Similar has happened with me I have purchased a godrez double door model eon 27 bd and continuous calling the customer care for the solution of my problem that has been arised within 3 days of purched. I have called the customer care they have given the complain no. or docket no. and have told that with 48 working hours they eill be coming to our address but five days have been gone and no responce is coming from their side. We are continuously calling them and they are telling that We will be coming today we will be coming tomorrow. Totally bad service.

godrej model no-GFE25AD — cooling problem

i have purchase a godrej double door refrigerator model no-GFE25AD on date-20.01.2009 and serial no-S[protected] from parida brothers sundargarh.eirther there is product defect the cooling problem is come frequently and repaired time to time.On date 17.06.2010 i have given complain and mechanic came on 20.06.2010 and detect the compressor falure.we asured to repairing with in 4 days but it is regrate to say till now it is not repair..so with in a year how so many defect found in the refrigerator.I may replace a new refrigerator or good mechanical support so that it run smoothly otherwise i will knocked the door of court..
