[Resolved]  Govt. Service — ECG test of spouse taken by a male technician

ECG test of my wife was taken by a male technician in the absence of a relation or a female attendant, but a male attendant was there waiting outside. This was during our admission in a private hospital for a medical examination. I also happened to read during my investigation on the net that it is unethical to take ecg of a lady patient by a male technician. I am very much annoyed over this thing. How is this to be taken and what is to required to be done? I sometimes think that the technician may be taking undue advantage, is such thing a common practice and how is it to be viewed?

Govt. Service — prize money

hello i m here 2 informed u dat i got a msg from yahoo/msn which is dat i win d money and get a prize in london..
so can u plzzz tell me How i got my prize..
i mean wt will i do now..???
plzz help sumbody..!!???
i totally disagree with you. It is fully fine with a male attendant taking ECG of a lady patient. They are accustomed to it, and see hundreds of such cases a month. You are applying your own sick mind of viewing everything from sexual angle, even in medical profession too.
The attendant should be considered a medical professional not a male or a female.

I am myself 32 years a Muslim lady. Got "m"y ECG done (had gone with my shauhar) four times till date each at different cities in different years. Two of them by male attendants, two of them by female attendants.
Rather I would say one of the female attendants, by chance was kind of insensitive - speaking or behaving in rude manner while attaching the leads. Whereas, by chance, all of the other three(including two male attendants and one female attendants at three other different occaisions) were very understanding and made all o[censored]s(i talked to other patients also, hence i used the word "us") comfortable and performed all the required steps very professionally, kind and ethically.
many a times female professionals are very insensitive even towards other females modesty.

u seem to very close minded person to me, who can think of only one think - that is sex.
i[censored] are thinking to apply your mind always sexually and try to view such pure caring profession also with the same damn angle, then probably leave India and reside in afghanistan. Put your wife in burqa and treat her life like caged animal.
Elaborate the steps how the ecg was taken to you. How many persons were there when it was taken by male attendants? How much were you exposed to do the test? Then we can gauge on your comfortable level and reasonably find a valid point for justification.

Response on your 2nd message>say whatever you want to, that's OK, u have the freedom to say anything, but first you may give the answers to the above queries then you say whatever you like.
Ms khatoon or another mr presumably using it, tell me your point of view: you are female, told to be topless for the ecg by the male technician and there is no one in the room not even your shauhar/husband. Do you think that is right? Isn't the technician going too far and taking undue advantage?

Honestly, give your view and judgement on the situation based on the facts given above.
Also note that the technician is doing everything at his own discretion. The technician did not call for any female attendant or helper for assistance. Do you think this is correct?
Do you think you want to give the technician the benefit of doubt and call it pure & caring profession?
Now its your turn to clarify & explain.

The full perspective of the situation is informed to you, now you may retrospect your earlier comments and give your honest & befitting reaction & response.
