On 12th June'2010 , a service engineer(Mr.Inderjeet) from the above company came to my office to attend to a repair complaint(#[protected] which I'd booked thro your Universal Help Desk# [protected] for my PC.
The same day , he collected a cheque for Rs.4000/= from me against extension of the warranty for my PC for two years as the original warranty expires on 30th June'10.
I was advised by the service engineer that immediately on clearance of cheque , they'll provide me the warranty card etc. The cheque cleared from my account on 14th June'10. Immediately after which , I contacted them for the warranty card & was advised that it will be delivered the next day.
Since then I have been chasing them on daily basis on their landline & mobile (scores of calls everyday)..No one picks up either of the phones & the warranty has not been delivered to me either.
I am really distraught now & believe I've dealt with wrong people who don't care about the customer service.
I am also worried about the monies , I've paid to them. The amount paid is very significant for me.
You would appreciate that this incident negatively affects the reputation of HCL , which I'm sure is the last thing your esteemed Co. is known for.
I request you to kindly take immediate action , by following up with the authorised service provider & ensure the needful is done in my favour at the earliest , as a service to a customer of yours.
Pls also advise , if there any action , that I need to take from my end on the issue.
