HCL PC — COMPLAINT REGARDING DEALER AND SERVICE PROVIDER

Hello Sir,

The purpose of this mail is to inform you about the dissatisfactory services provided by one of your dealer in my city BHILWARA (RAJASTHAN). I being a loyal customer to your products regret to inform you about the inconvenience I am facing by the services of your dealer in city situated at pur road headed by Mr. Pawan Bansal.
I would like to tell you about such: I have a personal computer of your brand which I had purchased from the same dealer few years back. After which I have always relied on HCL’s after sales services and I got them conveniently as well.

But a month back my computer was unable to perform certain operations like internet wasn’t working due to some faults in system and not the modem for which I had called the service provider. He sent the service person who checked it and said the mistake is due to virus but I informed him that I haven’t used my pc since a month. The service man did insulted me by saying that I m lying. He charged me for that service.

For such a behavior I complained the head in charge who apologized for such behave of his service man. And then again that person came and checked that mistake was due to some fault in system due to antivirus and not the modem and I was correct. He uploaded an antivirus which he named as quick heal trial pack. The service man told me that he will come and upload a new licensed antivirus within a period of 15 days.

But he never turned back. Again when the antivirus got expired in 15 days my internet stopped working. So on Monday dated, 20 July 2009 my daughter personally went to the dealers office where the head wasn’t present but I m sorry to say I felt so ashamed for the first time to be a customer of HCL. The employee out there named as Mr.Chechani insulted her and my manager badly. I informed him that after calling 5 times at least he don’t send the service man so I had noted personal no of service person Mr. Ravi Pareek in my earlier service so that I can call him when the service provider doesn’t pick phone. Mr. chechani in front of all employees used insulting words for my daughter which is intolerable for a customer.
SO to bring to your kind notice that since I rely on HCL and want to maintain good relations in future as well, I would want you to take necessary action against the service provider who don’t think customer as a customer . Also I would inform you that I don’t want to go to CONSUMER COURT for seeking redressal but if a serious action has not being taken then I would be forced to do so.
