I had a HDFC credit card on 2005, the total limit of the card is Rs.10, 000/-, due to my regular payments they have incresed my limit to Rs.15, 000/-. They have not consulted with me to raise this limit, even i dont need that too. Later due to my financial circumstance i missed few months to pay my dues, but i paid the minimum dues. But the HDFC people who have volunterily increased my limit, now keep on making higher interest to my dues and my due amount goes higher like anything.
Suddenly one day they asked me for Rs.27, 000/- (my total card limit is only 15K and i paid mim dues too) which cant be payable by me. i denied to make the payment. There is no resource to protect the consumers like us. They have threaten me thro the collection people.
By 2008, i've spoken to HDFC bank official Mr.Manjunathan ([protected]) at Perungudi Branch, Chennai. He asked me to pay minimum cader amount Rs.10, 000/- to resolve this issue. And the next day itself i've have given the cheque for the same. Later when i've tried to apply for the personal loan it got rejected and i was informed that the loan was cancelled since i am in Defaulter list and it shows the bad debt of Rs.5000/-.
Even i had personal loan at HDFC bank some time before and i am regularly making the payments till now without a month delay. How can they say that i am a defaulter???
As a victim, my questions are
1) Howcome these bank people increse the limit without consulting the consumers?
2) How can they threaten people thro the collection executives? (before selling the behaviour is totally diffrent)
3) Why come the HDFC officals have given wrong communication to me? ( since i am willing to pay the balance amount of Rs.5000 also)
4) I cant able to apply any kind of loans, since i was trapped by the banking genius. It was happen purely because of the HDFC bank people, why should i affect in this?
5) I am willing to pay the bad debt of Rs.5000/, Weather HDFC can remove my name from CIBIL?
Please get me the justice
