[Resolved]  Home Depot Looptex Mills — Carpet

In April 2010 we had carpet which was purchased through our local Home Depot installed. After it was installed we noticed a color difference around the perimeter of the whole room. We contact Lisa at Home Depot, she said they would contact the company in Georgia and they would send their on inspector to look at the carpet. Mr. Jared Warnack who did the inspection came late in the afternoon, there was no shadow from the sun and by this time we had a whole room full of furniture sitting on top of the carpet. By the way it took over a month and a half to get anybody to take a look at the carpet. The company denied our claim, as for Home depot they did nothing to satisfy us as a returning customer. We paid over $600 for carpet which is not acceptable. We would not be able to recommend anybody buy carpet through home depot or from Looptex Mills.

You are not alone, we are having the same problems with the same carpet and getting no where.
I was just at Home Depot and almost purchased a Looptex Euphoric frieze type carpet. in a bcf polyester. Has anyone installed this carpet? It would be in a high traffic area and I am concerned after reading the reviews on the web. Please rmail me at kkollath at yahoo dot com.
Looptex Mills (Stainmaster) complaints for Lowes and home depot are everywhere, why do they still carry this junk. Has anyone got a warranty issue ever approved, just curious?
