This is in regards to the problems I am facing in my new bike CB UNICORN DAZLLER.
Vehicle NO : KA-05, HL, 5527
Regret to inform you that I never enjoyed this bikes quality as this comes with loads of problem and I should call this as first failure product from Honda india.
The problems I am facing in this bike are

1) Cold start
2) AIR BLOCK
3) Mileage of 30 KMPL
4) Wrong speedo meter reading
5) Vibrations after first service

Till now I have visited your showroom (Saphire Honda , JP nagar Bangalore) atleast 8 times reporting these problems and only problem that was resolved was cold start problem all other problem remains the same.

When I went first time to showroom saying cold start is having problem they told me to use KICKER during morning and do not use self, these guys don’t even have basic knowledge of this POOR-QUALITY Dazzler I was speechless after listening to them, no body here understands bikes problem and tries to resolve the problem and they don’t even accept the problems we report to them.

After lot of follow-ups with service manager in the show room they decided to do some analysis and called Honda as they could not find why the AIR is getting BLOCKED and Honda suggested them to replace the tank and its been more thatn 2 WEEKS and they have not yet replaced the same, when I called the show room regarding this they said “ we dont have the tank now and it takes 8 to 10 days “. Why the hell Honda is launching this bike when the parts are not yet ready? How can they good support to its product?
Mileage is another big BIG problem , company claims 60 for this bike and it gives only 30KMPL every time I report this problem the show room ppl say this problem will be resolved( not only this ofcoure they will resolve all the problems). Now even the first service is done and now they don’t have any answer and they are not even ready to look at this bike and find the root cause of the problem

Speedo meter is another example for Hondas POOR-quality, after completing 1000Kms it starts showing kms again from 1 it does not show 1001, I really wonder was there any testing done on this bike or it was just launched like that.

I was waiting for this bike to complete its first service , thinking all the problems will be resolved, to my surprise the vehicle engine started producing lot of noice and vibrations and it lost its pick up now the vehicles power is like 100CC bike and mileage is like a 220cc bike( mileage is even lesser than 220cc bike , my brother owns pulsar 220cc which gives a mileage of 35kmpl).

I had initially booked a bajaj –product as every body told that bajaj gives reliable product but I cancelled my booking after getting the dazzler launch news . and booked the same I am the first person to book this vehicle in Saphire Honda now I am regretting every day I take this vehicle on road.


I am writing this just to inform you that what is the quality of your product and the quality of service done at Honda show rooms and quality of the people you have.

I am going to report all these problems in all famous MORTOR BIKER’s SITES and suggest them strongly not to buy this POOR Quality product.
I will wait for another 1 week and if problems exist even after that the only option I have is to go to consumer court and fight for my rights…..

the battery in honda cb unicorn dazzler is the worst i've seen.. In 10-15 dayz, the battery almost dies. My friend has yamaha fz-s. Both o[censored]s went to our home for a month after completing the semester. And after we returned back and started our respective bikes, believe me fz-s started at once and my dazzler didn't start at all.. I had to keep my bike and then go on his bike..it was really insulting for me...i completely wasted my money buying this bike..its riding is also not comfortable...shape is ugly and service centres are really hopeless to the power 10. I stay in nagpur and i must say HONDA has cheated me with this bike. I'll never recommend it to anybody. Shame on honda...completely lost my trust.!

Yes even i am facing same kind of response from Saphire honda.
I have purchased this vehicle from Saphire Honda. 4th service i got it done from Saphire on 2 FEB 2011 after 1 week of service carburetor was blocked vehicle was not getting started. Now on 20 April 2011 I got paid service done and from yesterday when I checked battery is drained. I pushed my vehicle for 8 km in rain, as vehicle was not starting. Please get me the alternate battery REPLACEMENT. So far vehicle is travelled only 5400 kilometers and in this service disc brake pad also changed. I would request you to change the battery and get me new one I don’t want to compromise on refilling the battery. Now my feeling is that Saphire is not doing service properly when my carburetor got drained!!!
Hi i'm ganesh from trichy . I am a dazzler owner too . My bike is very good. No problem yet now . But I agree the point that the service of honda dealers are worse than a road side puncture shop . I took my dazz to another service centre(tanjore) which is 50 kms away expecting a good service, but the old story continues, i am sick of this people .

digital meter problem,
colour fadd problem finally solve by venetion dealers maked repaint of fuel tank & mad guard, road light clearity problem,

initially i to had problems wit ma dazzler, the gear shifts were rough and when approached the showroom their service was really poor.then i complained to the main honda headquarters in pune .then i got some assestance. i gave ma bike to the showroon till ma4 service get over, now that all service are over i started servicing on ma own. i found the the loss of pick up in these bikes is due to the clutch plate they are really loose that it is not able to transmit full power to the transmission.my bike have done 11000km and adjusted ma valve clearence. dear folks please adjust your valve clearance for evrey 10000km .now ma bike is really good to ride it has a good mileage of 55kmpl and excellent pick up

I also have a dazzler. But i find no problems with my bike. i got about 53 km mileage and power delivery is up to the mark. But i agree strongly that the Honda service centers are too poor, especially in terms of the technical knowledge and customer support. If Honda is not considering this issue as a serious one they will surely lose their valuable customers. We buy Honda products expecting a standard quality. Honda must care customer's suggestions and take necessary actions to resolve them.

hi i'm hari.. i too bought a new honda dazzler.. ya i agree to the fact that initial pick is not so good.. but the bike feels so powerful once you cross 30 kmph.. the bike is not comfortable with the city rides.. and gear shift periods for the 1st two is really short.. however the bike is best at handling and feels really good for long drives..

the braking system is perfect and offer perfect road balance.. good engine sound also adds up to its merits..

the problems people are reporting about the sppedometer would most probably be becoz of there usage only.. honda tells the user to start the engine only after the rpm needle is back to its initial position coz a charge draw from the battery during the course may damage the instrument or the sensors..

the bike is really stylish and powerful.. try to make the best out of it..
after waiting for 15 days.. i got delivered(planet honda -bangalore) ma dazzler yesterday..., , when i try start the vehicle in showroom, it didn't start, the mechanic check the fuel and tried again with choke but nothing happened...n then i open fuel cap for few secs ...den the bike started ...but after around 5kms ..bike went out of breath...when i reported this problem, , the mechanic said like because of new engine its happening like this..after one or two days the bike would be fine.. but i think its cos of air block in fuel tank..n while coming back to my home(its around 20 kms), i had to open fuel tank for around 15 times, today i called the service manager, and he promised to rectify the problem..now am going to service centre, , i hope they solve the problem soon

but after riding it .i can surely say ..the quality of bike very poor.
if you are to buy a tw0 wheeler, , pls dont for dazzler instead go for unicorn(its a gem)
honda product is a very good product.so everybody have there on opinion i think dazzler is not bad as all said.one think i want to say is very very poor servies.
one think i want to say is honda servies is very very bad in kasaragod also.but everybody has different opinion about dazzler but i think it is the leading bike in youngster hands

i got dazzler 1 month ago

i completed 500 kms in 30 days

i love this bike

i always ride it 90-100 kmph

gettin a mileage of 45-50 and m satisfied

you can get 55+ milegae at 50kmph

top speed i reached 120 kmph

and the amazing thing i love is accelaration which is 0-100 in just 5 seconds

i keep beating p220's and karizmas all day

u stewpid ppl this dazzler is a masterpiece

THERE IS NO BIKE THAT HAS NOT ANY KIND OF PROBLEM.
If you could not maintain your bike, its gives you lots of problem. I have also this bike and i face some problem with this bike, but this is true for every bike. you cannot get dazzler feature in any bike on that price. this bike has tube-less tire and both disk break with maintenance free battery. its gear ratio is higher other than 150 CC bike that gives long engine life.
You can also solve these problem by;
1) Cold start :: Start bike on Choke
2) AIR BLOCK :: Clean Petrol tank cap and air filter
3) Mileage of 30 KMPL :: Do not harsh accelerate bike in city. ride smoothly
4) Wrong speedo meter reading :: Switch trip reading by pressing select button
5) Vibrations after first service :: Tight frame nut and bolt and fill correct air in tire (FORNT 30 and REAR 34).


So maintain your bike properly and enjoy you dazzler riding.

unicorn dazzler — poor service

Dear Sir / Mam
I want to inform you that your Okhla Industrial area, phase - 2 service centre is not working properly. They give a poor service to my bike and made it uncomfortable. They missguide us regarding test drive. They are late in work. There is no feedback form at there.

Kindly take reasonable action, otherwise we forced to do a legal action.

cb unicorn dazzler honda — Not providing service

I bought cb unicorn dazzler from Honda, It's digital meter is not working properly after few days we bought,
I complained and asked for service but they denied, I requested again and again but they gave no response.
Please assist.

Honda unicorn CB bike — cheapest quality and high price

Dear sir,

My self haresh dilipbhai parmar, i brought a new Honda unicorn CB bike on 6/10/2011, the same bike is register on 16/9/2011, i found that the some parts of my bike covered under carbon (junk). i keep my bike under the roof protection and its not possible that water is spread on
it. Hence, i m not agree on that without that activity this happens. i mark 2-3 mail or complaint to Honda from last week but there is no any rply.

If really are u help to customer for his right, so please help me to get my right.

cb unicorn dazzler — part not available

last three month we have facing the problem as under
1. chain set not working properly and same has been demanding form u r dealer (tajshri honda) since last three month they are not provide us
2. back wheel disk pad since last three month they are not provide us
