My HSBC card number was [protected], The a/c was closed due to one Insurance dispute. I never had shown my interest for TATA AIG Insurance, without my knowledge they had sent it to me. As per HSBC's covering letter, if for any queries, I should contact with TATA-AIG directly. I had sent queries, unfortunately no reply. HSBC started putting EMI on my statement. I had never got monthly statement in time, for this I had done several request over telephone and over mails, no action had initiated. For normal usage of the card, I had paid the whole amount.
I had tried to contact their customer services, experienced a very uncomfortable facilities over there.
Recently I had a talk with their two representatives in their Mumbai Office ([protected]-Automatic diverted to Mumbai), they said they cannot help it out, only I have to contact with HSBC's third party agency, they had provided 4 telephone numbers :
[protected]
[protected]
[protected]
[protected]
While calling the first one, he said that he has stopped doing business with HSBC one year back. Rest 3 numbers are only ringing, no body is picking up the telephone. Strange what data-base HSBC is using !!!
Now I want to resolve this issue, I have sent mails to their customer services also ([protected]@hsbc.co.in).
Request you if anyone helps me out. I want to get out of this unnecessary dispute, I have no faith on any credit cards. Better for those people, who are living in village, they do not require such credit cards, neither they get such huge pain in life...
Lastly I started communicating to mail at [protected]@hsbc.co.in... unfortunately I have been getting reply mails that :
Their reply as follows :
On Nov. 19, 2008
"We acknowledge receipt of your complaint regarding TATA AIG policy and have registered the same under reference no [protected]. Please allow us 4 to 5 working days to investigate the matter conclusively by when a final response would be shared with you."
On Nov. 13, 2008
"We would like to inform you that we have forwarded your message to the respective department under request reference number [protected] and our collection officer will contact you in 3 working days and they will assist you accordingly with your query pertaining to credit card "

Please refer to the below mail, I would like to bring to your notice the below fact :
To resolve the below dispute, I had contacted on telephone number[protected], automatically it went to Mumbai office and I had a talk with your customer officer Mr. Rahul & Mr. Rayan twice regarding the below issue. Initially Mr. Rahul had provided a number of Mr. Kamal [protected], after contacting this number they have informed me that one year back they had stopped doing business with you.
After re-contacting with your Mumbai office on the above number, Mr. Rayan had given me following phone numbers and contact persons:
[protected] – Contact Person : Hardeep Sabharwal
[protected] – Contact Person : Gaurav Girdhar
[protected] – Contact Person : Abdul Khan
I had tried to contact them more than 100 times throughout the day, no body had attended the phone call. All the phone numbers were ringing every time.
Yesterday I had a talk with your customer care at Gurgaon, they have also advised me that they cannot help me out, except to contact the above persons. They also advised me to send a mail to them, but unfortunately I do not have any contact e-mails of above persons.
I would request you to resolve this dispute as early as possible.

I would like to inform you that my card number is [protected]. The a/c was closed due to one Insurance dispute. I had several phone calls and e-mails to the concerned, but I did not get any reply. I had a huge redeemed points in my credit card, it was removed. As per your advise in your letter, dtd. July 06, 2006 (Attached herewith), I had sent a mail with some queries on July 10, 2006 to Tata AIG at [protected]@tata-aig.com, but unfortunately I did not get any reply. The said mail is attached herewith for your ready reference, please.
If you see my earlier credit history for my credit card with your bank, you would realize that my intention was not to stop payment. Your representative had called me, I had advised “please send information, let me go through, then only I shall revert you back”. I had never agreed for such insurance policy, suddenly I had received Insurance certificate from HSBC during 1st week of July 2006. After that I had sent the above attached mail, but I did not get reply.
Please let me know to whom should I contact in this regard, so that this dispute can be resolved at the earliest.
Thanking you in advance for your co-operation in this matter, please.
