HSBC — Harrassing phone calls
[protected] Phone calls EVERYDAY at least 8 to 10. Wants me to calls start at 6 in the morning and go until 10 at night. Lost part of post, wants me to provide credit card numbers and/or social security number.
Dear Sir,
I had a credit card from HSBC in 2007. I lost the card somewhere in the month of October/November 2007. I did inform the bank about this and informed to close the card so that I can make the payments and close the credit card once and for all. However the bank did not close it and the bill went from 11k something to 80K till date. The HSBC bank had passed off the credit card debt to 3rd pty debt collector by the name of GM Financial. They stated that they have sent mails to my home address (permanent in Kolkata) and got my number from my mother by calling her up in Kolkata. I never said that I was not going to pay but I disputed the charges and did not want any settlement to be done on the credit card account. Yet the 3rd party debt collection company went ahead and disclosed the credit card debt to my mother in Kolkata which caused her immense stress and she had to be hospitalised due to that. Now I want to take some legal actions against the 3rd party debt collection agency. Please tell me how to go ahead about it in seeking compensation for the harrasment which I and my family member has faced from this company
Kindly get back to me at s.[protected]@gmail.com or at [protected]

HSBC — Credit Card Annual fee statement sent on expired card
SirThe validity of this card had expired in year 2010 and we have cleared the all earlier statements already before it. So on what basis did HSBC send us the statement of Rs. 2247 ?
There is no proper contact id or phone number.
We don't even know the card no. of our expired credit card which I crushed and threw away after expiration & clearing of all previous statements.
