I, Smt. S. Jhansi Rani, wish to bring the following facts for your kind information and for initiating immediate necessary action for rectification of your records.
I am the owner of Residential House, bearing No. 8-59/B, Srinivasa Nagar, Chintal, GHMC, Quitubullapur Circle, Hyderabad. In the said residential House, I have obtained Water Connection as allotted by the authorities vide CAN No.[protected]. As the usage of the water drawing from the allotted water connection is purely residential purpose, I have been paying the water usage charges as demanded by your establishment @ Rs.131/- on every month and making payments regularly.
Contrary to above, I am in receipt of Bill No.1373 Dt. 31.10.2011 for Rs. 26192.58 presumed to be usage charges to the tune of Rs. 816.50 and the old arrears to the tune of Rs. 25033 as contained in the bill generated for this purpose (Copy enclosed for immediate reference).
I am lady, working in a private establishment was forced to apply leave to my establishment many times and visited the officials of your chintal office for rectification of the the error committed by your concern.
On repeated visits to your office at Chintal, I was told that due to oversight the usage against my connection has been wrongly recorded as 50000 Litres Per day which is far away from the facts. I was also told by the concerned in your office at Chintal that, the error made by your office will be rectified only if the same has been brought to your notice by the applicant / me. I am very sorry to note that, the staff attending to address the needs of customers in your Chintal office does not seem to feel the responsibility to guide the customers as to how they should proceed under similar circumstances and have made me run here and there without finding any solution to the problem purely caused to me by their default.

Hyderabad metro water works — Excessive billing
I have been getting excessively high billing for my water connection on consumer no.[protected]. Previous bills submitted by Hyderabad MetroWater Works were always below Rs.600 however the bill provided for the month of May 2011 was Rs.1,500 and the bill provided for the month of June 2011 was Rs.11,000. On reporting the issue to Hyderabad MetroWater Works, the staff simply state that the billing has been as per the meter for the connection.
