Respected sir we are the regular customers of Indane gas cylinder(LPG) supplied by M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly We want to bring your kind attention to the following issues:
(1) Generally cylinders are booked after 21 days after previous issuance of cylinder. But M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly books after 30 days and delivers the cylinders after15 days of booking that is total 45 days between two filled cylinders. The cylinder can glow a stove for 20 days for the family of 5-6 members only. If we make complaint about these irregularities they reply that this is company’s order.
(2) If we ask for cylinder for M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly hawkers they use to say cylinder is available at the cost of Rs 500/-, which is legally a black marketing by M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly.
(3) The booking slip of M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly the telephone No. is given that is (office[protected], (Godown[protected] but it is always busy and they use to say that phone is out of service. But the real situation is that they plug out the telephone wire always. As we are government employees we cannot leave our office for gas booking during working hrs. In this situation the customer is not able to book the gas by telephone.
When ever we raises above issues at office M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly the persons misbehaves and uses abusive language and use to say that if you are not satisfied by our services then you can disconnect your connection from here and take the service from other gas agency. But due to area restriction and service not provided by any other agency we are bounded to get poor services provided M/S lata gas Agency, Bareilly
Earlier also gas agency were seized due to black marketing and irregular services.
We hope that you may take disciplinary action against M/S lata gas Agency; Bareilly so that customer can avail better services that is very purpose of your company IOCL

My wife is a consumer having C.No-19785 of 'Nabarun Gas Service' ,453, Burnpur Rd., Asansol, Burdwan-713304, Ph[protected]/1840, WestBengal. It is their rule/practise that a new cylinder booking is registered after 21 days from the date of delivery of last cylinder. So, following their practise ,we booked for new refill on 29/9/2007 but after elapsing 9 days further, i enquired on 07/10/07 for my new refill over telephone. They said that another 12-15 days will require to deliver the said cylinder. That is lead time will stood as -21 days + 9+12 = 42 days. It is very unfortunate to note that that a fresh cylinder will come after 42 days. I do not know how a family can manage its cookings by a cylinder for 42 days. I want to brought this to the notice of appropriate indane authorities for looking into the matter.
