What about the Passport Officer in the States like Karnataka, Maharashtra? Who will we turn to?

My application was filed on 4 May 2010, police verification on 12 May. Till now it says on the website that PV Report is not received.

When I call up the Policeman who asked for bribe after writing my report, he says to to go to the Commissioner's Office.

Of course, this is because I did not pay the full bribe. God only knows if I will ever get my passport.

I have no words to describe what a degrading experience this has been.

I appreciate that as you all have done great job, marvelous job not giving the bribe. The corruption had spread like the wild fire in our country esp. Uttar Pradesh. As the good citizen of the India we all make sure that not to entertain this mal practice followed by us only. We are the source of this corruption we have prompted it and it our liable responsibility to stop this functionality. As good citizen of India We should raise alarm for this type of Issue, it is good that these people raise the alarm and concern. We salute this brave Indian. Hopping to see other also doing the same. They are brave Indians. Be BRAVE AND RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS. Jai Bharat. Jai Hind.

hello sir my passport was submit in the office at 19.08.2010. but now there are status is not show on the web site of my file. my file no is GZB m008595 10.
plz slove my problem early because i nedd the passport early because i want to give IELTS test

Dear Sir / Madam,
Sub :- Complaint regarding Bribe asked by L.I. U ( legal Intelligence Officer ),
Ref :- Passport File no : - GZB – Z001384/85
I like to bring to your kind notice that liu inspector has come to our house, accompanied by another person, regarding verification as my son & wife have applied for New Passport.
The above mentioned officer asked for Bribe of Rs. 1, 500.00, as he told me, he will verify and forward the same to passport office, when I refused to give the amount, he again asked to give only Rs. 1, 000.00 and he also told us that he gets from every applicant whom he goes for verification.
When I refused it completely, and asked why to give bribe, he told us that this is there fees, and without that, he will send the report incomplete, and passport will not be issued.
I just want tot ask that, being the citizen of INDIA by birth, a regular Income-Tax Payee, a member of reputed family of AGRA, having No-Criminal record / case. Then why I am being harassed by the Govt. officials.
I just want to know is this is the work procedure of Indian Govt. machinery, that without Bribe no work will be done, and that too bribe asked by ( Legal Intelligence officer ), the security of the country are in the hands of such corrupt persons.
Well, I request you to kindly look into the matter seriously, and take the proper action on these corrupt employes.

Indian Passport Office, Ghaziabad — no response

we have applied for passport on dt.24.8.2010 before 11 months back vide on line applicationno. GZB-A[protected].
WE VISITED MORE THEN 15 TIMES THE PASS PORT OFFICE,
NEITHER THEY ARE GIVING ANY RESPONSE NOR UPDATING WEB SITE STATUS.
EVERY TIME WE REQUIRED TO STAY IN LINR FROM 8 AM TO 5 PM.
AND AT THE END OF DAY THEY WILL SAY ,FILLUP FORM WE WILL INFORM STATUS.
BUT THEY WILL NEVER INFORM STATUS. AND ON WEB SITE THE SAME MESSAGE WILL APPEAR COME TO OFFICE & MEET.
WE WESTED 11 MONTHS , AND MENTALLY HARESSED.
THEY WILL NEVER PICK THE PHONE.NOT GIVE REPLY IN PASSPORT OFFICE.
WE NEVER SEEN SUCH TYPE OF PAINFUL SERVICES.

PLS. HELP US IN PROVIDING OUR PASSPORT.

Subject : Wrong verification details mention in verification report done by police authority when i say not to give bribe him

I have applied passport in February 2017 and got appointment on 4 march 2017 verify all the documents. After some days i receive call for police verification from kheria mod police chowki agra .i was physical present at time verification and completely done verification and police officers ask for bribe 1500 to do all formalities quick but i refused to give bribe .
He ask my old address i told him i from agra and living in agra from my birth, and doing job and i went to Himachal for official work for 4 to 5 months before 8 months and i left Himachal 6 months before . Now i living in agra .and applied passport from agra

Now i am checking the my passport status " its showing police verification not clear and review under regional passport office"
I have visited many times to police station as well as Regional passport office but not getting solution. RPO saying that he did not receive police verification hard copy .i have lost time and money in this issue . I request to RPO for again verification

After some days i have received letter from RPO

(Letter ref no SCN/[protected]/17)

Reason is mention in letter " Applicant is living in Himachal Pradesh from last 1.5 years " while i am from Agra Uttar Pradesh and applied passport through my home town.

I have received again call from police authority for verification 19 May 2017 . (Police office Sunil Tiwari from kheriya mod police chowki agra )
Again he demand for bribe of 1500. This time i have to give bribe because nobody doing his job without bribe . Still police authority not forward my report to RPO . I am continue visiting police station for update

I am facing lots of problems from last march month and losing my time and money.

Please help
