India Today Book Club — non delivery of my offer on holiday package
Sir,I had booked a holiday package offered by india today book club for four people in 3 to 5 star resorts for a total sum Rs 5943/- on 21/4/2009. The payment was made by me on 21/4/2009 itself through credit card and I was assured of receiving all the related brochures within 3 days. My order No. was OGA[protected], and booking I.D was[protected]. But, after not receiving any consignment even after one month, I called up customer care to know the whereabouts. Here I was told that my consignment was despatched by Blue dart courier on 22/4/2009 and the consignment no was [protected]. I immediately contacted the Blue dart office in kolkata and they told me that the consignment was returned back to India today book club on 25/4/2009 itself as because they did not have the services in the pincode area of my residence in Gangtok, Sikkim. So I contacted ITBC again and gave them the detailed information at which they assured me to redespatch the consignment through another courier within 7 days. But thereafter I have been calling them every 7-10 days and only getting assurance. I must have called them atleast 13-15 times and lodged as many complaints but to no avail. After 3 and half months of mental harrasement I want them to either honour the holliday offer at the earliest or return back my hard earned money. Please help.

Hi,I had booked the order (order no[protected] / unique no of claim[protected]A[protected] at 'India today book club' for12 books pack against free gift offer of Family Holiday home package + Air tickets.
The parcel I received was only having 12 books pack and the ‘Family holiday home package and air ticket are not delivered’.
I emailed the company and they asked me to ‘visit the below mentioned bookstoday.in/promos.htm link to claim your free gifts.
When I visited the link, I came to know that for holiday package they have put such conditions that some one decides then also he cannot availed the offer and the same thing is apply for the Air tickets.
Also the payment Rs 800 is required for Holiday package and payment of taxes is required for Air ticket, which was not mentioned in the initial offer flyer.
The terms & conditions they are asking me to follow for free gifts are informed me after I have accepted the delivery of 12 books. Legally I am not bound to follow any of such condition.
The free gift what they are saying is a totally misguiding to the customers.
I have maintained copies of all communication between ‘India today book club’ and me. I am expecting my money back with harassment compensation and company to stop such cheating marketing policy.

I had ordered 1 Rebook Sun Glass which was received by me on[protected] and the very next day I posted the claim for Free Gift to Premier Sales Promotions (P) Ltd, Bangalore by Ordinary post(as directed by the customer care executive). I waited a hell long time for any reply and on[protected] I gave a Call to Premier Sales Promotions to which they say they have not yet received my form. On enquiring what should I do next, they suggested to resend the form. I told them I am unable to download the same form as my ITBC no. says that it has already been registered. To this they say that I have to wait until the form is received by them. Please suggest what to do.

India Today Book Club — Non-receipt of Holiday package
Dear Sir,Against my Order no. 0GA[protected] dated 04.12.09 placed with Living Media India Limited (INDIA TODAY BOOK CLUB), today I have received the parcel through Courier which contains the Reebok watch and Best sellers. However the Holiday package offer details are not found. I therefore logged on to www.bookstoday.in/promos.htm to claim my freee gift as indicated on the invoice. However even after entering the UNIQUE number printed on the invoice to claim the special offer correctly, on submitting, the message " you have made incorrect entries" keeps on appearing. PLEASE TAKE UP THE MATTER EARLIEST AND RESPOND
