I have two policies one is the Standard HIP which Infosys offers and the other is the Retail policy.
My father was hospitalised for a cardiac attack on 24th of July for about a week. For this, I have submitted a claim for a sum of Rs 47000.
This treatment is not related to the CABG and he was hospitalised for observation.
I have submitted another claim for Rs 2,21,314 in the mid of August as my father was hospitalised again for CABG. This claim has been closed and the amount reimbursed.
I understand that the settlement for CABG is 1,50,000 and this has been settled. However my first claim is not for CABG or for any treatment related to that and I have received a mail saying that the limit has exhausted and the claim is denied.
I was informed by your Mediassist team here in Infosys that there has been a confusion and the claim has been re opened. But now, I have communication from your team again saying that the approved limit is met and the claim cannot be settled.
