i firmly agree with the comments made by Sandeep Daburi.such is the condition of Isb&m that it cannot even place atleast 50% of its students for the summer internships.I want to contradict Sandeep at one point, the avg salary this year is 2.5 lacs and the lowest salary is 1.5 lacs.So, in my view rather than spending a lumpsum amount of 6.70 lacs on such an institute, its better to catch hold of colleges like eim, eiilm or future.At least u wont have to pay such large amount in such colleges and still get such packages.the worst thing about isb&m is that it does not have placement officer to look after the placement matters.everything is done by the inexperienced students.some faculty members help them sometimes but they place only those students whom they favour the most.So, results and talent doesnot have any value here.The only skill u need is how to flatter your faculties. even then u cant expect of landing up in a good company or even if you get a good company your status would be no more than a clerk.So beware of this institute and its fraudulent activities.Dont fall into the trap of its false promises.its indeed a bull institute.well said Sandeep...you have the courage to speak the truth, I appreciate your effort.But I cannot reveal my name as i have I have to spend 1 more year in this institute

1st thing whoever has written comments on my behalf a small request to you my surname is Dabburi Not Daburi. ok.
2nd i was, i am & i will be a part of the ISB&M family and i am proud of it. I know there was some problem for my placement But yes i was happy that my college had taught me something which ill cherish throughout my life. And for the students who are taking my name and writing these comments. Small note for you i know who you guys are & next time any such note be ready. Guess made my self clear to you!!!
And about ISB&M kolkata ya i agree this time the placements were not good But hope will improve this year & comming years. Best of luck to all ISB&Mites.

It plays with the emotions of parents and promises of lucrative jobs at the time of admission to the institute. Parents falling in the trap mostly destroy the career of their wards and waste their hard earned money in the form of heavy fees charged for the course.

The courses are neither approved by AICTE nor affiliated to UGC or any university. Students are unnecessarily harrased by the faculty members.

Students after completing the course and remaining unplaced find themselves in a dark world as they have to pay back the Bank loan without having income generation source.

Students passing out from this institute are not eligible for government jobs where MBA from an approved institute is required to be essential.

Taking admission in ISBM is simply wastage of precious time, hard earned money of parents and valuable youth energy.

My suggestion to the Management of the Institute is to stop fraudulent actions and close the college and help the nation. - An aggrieved father.

Don’t commit suicide b y joining this so called reputed college.you will get to see the real pic once u join it.in order to show 100% placements the management is resorting to desperate and unethical activities like pushing them to fraudulent companies and they are also pressurizing the students to join these companies.the placement cell is comprised of students who don’t hav the the required competency to manage the corporates and there is no one to supervise them.the students are in constant fear of losing everything that they have invested for two years.a sum of Rs 7 lakhs(approx)is not a matter of joke for the middle class families.the avg packages are 2-2.5.such packages can be provided by institutes like nimas also.then why spend such a huge sum?on top of that there is an acute shortage of faculties.there is a so called retail course but you would be surprised to know that there is not a single faculty to teach the retail subjects.the chairperson academics is an incompetent inefficient and incapable joker of the institute.the so called director surendra poddar is the worst head of any college I have ever seen.he is not at all bothered about the students’ future.pls think at least 100 times before joining this institute

Arnab Sir is really a good member as all freshers for Kolkata campus, first communicate with him.He is very Polite and encourages to new students as i saw before.
Apart from this please suggest me what should i go for? and if you suggest me other media & communication good institute in Kolkata.

I am an ex student of ISBM pune and to be very truthful its all a farce. With a degree from ISBM you will always be treated as a second class candidate. It is such a tragedy to see others with the same MBA students / degree holders get more salary even during the interns. They have no management controls and they keep fining students in a arbitrary manner. last but not the least you get priority only if you lick the managements foot and be a slave to the placement cell members this makes it very difficult for people with self belief and esteem to cope up. One word of advise is to stay FAR away from this jhol institute.

This is not true ISBM is not a fake Institute . I have done MBA in Sales Management . I have got full support from this Institute . Even these people are providing 100% placement assistance, jz coz of that only I am working in MNC in a higher post. Thankfull to ISBM!!!

It is nothing like that ISBM is fraud . I have done DBM form ISBM Ludhiana, and also placed by ISBM in a leading company in higher position . Thanks to ISBM!!! Those who are planning to go for ISBM they are very right track of their carrier point whereas those who are spreading rumors against ISBM, all them are fake .

I have got appericiating support from ISBM. Have done MMS from ISBM . Even I have got good job in a leading MNC with higher post.Please ignore all junks like ISBM is fake or you are trapped by ISBM .

Someone is trying to malign the name of ISB&M . There are many Institutions with similar name. ISB&M, which is International School of Business and Media is not to be confused with other Institutes with similar name. ISB&M is a B school which has rolled over thousands of top class leaders and a vast pool of alumni heading various business segments across the world stand a testimony to the fact. Those who cry foul about ISB&M perhaps lacked in their commitment to subject themselves to a positive change for which ISB&M campuses provide an excellent atmosphere . There will always be few in the lot who are not transformable because of their attitude and for that matter no Institute can do anything. These students will always try to find out flaws in the system. ISB&M feels proud of its students and the faculties who strive hard to excel in bringing transformation to one's personality and attitude and remains committed to continue to do so, undeterred by the fallacious and baseless propaganda being spread by few frustrated persons. I request students and parent not to pay heed to any such propaganda.

Being a student of ISB&M I can definitely put across to everyone that the college is not fake. Infact, the college provides learning environment to its students which is a combination of theoretical and practical knowledge. The faculties here understands the importance of learning approach and prepares the student for the practical world. I will definitely recommend the college to students who wants to pursue their education at a place wherein they will get a chance to prepare themselves for the world outside their comfort zone!

To add.. It seems someone/competitor is trying to defame the college. Please don't trust them and look at ISB&M's history. The students who have passed out of ISB&M are well placed and doing good in their life.
