[Resolved]  jagadish — MANY UNWANTED CALLS COMING FROM CUSTOMER CARE SERVING

Dear Complainant

with respect to the current TRAI rules, you can call your subscriber and register for a DND( do not disturb) activation thereafter you would get no promotional calls or sms's except bill intimation. alternatively the new act being in force form supreme court, you cant receive calls between 10 pm to 10 am from any telecaller. if you do lodge a formal FIR with your near by police station.
some precautions you must take are
1) never fill out promotional forms or coupons at any malls or other places
2) Avoid giving out you number or personal details on net
3) use proper validation process to procure sim cards so that you avoid duplication of numbers
