[Resolved]  Kpmg Employee Verification — Employee's Mental Atrocity

Hi Everyone,
Firstly I would like everyone to know that I am here not only for my self but other employees who had to go through the same mental harassment as I did. I am a firm believer in privatization for I believe private sectors to be more innovative and cost effective than the govt. services. And having this very same thought and belief in my mind I walked into KPMG's PEBC dept., assuming it to be good launch for my career. KPMG as we all know is one of the reputed Auditing firm of the world, in short termed as big four and there is not doubt about it and a fact which I respect the most. As a business venture KPMG has started a new business units ( Pre Employent Background Check) PEBC. This dept is responsible for verification of potential employee's on behalf of clients. The verification is carried out in domain's such as criminal, employment and educational credentials. i was working for one these dept and came across unethical practice which have been listed below:-
1) Inflating the number of cases solved by adding duplicate cases to bills the client exorbitantly.
2) If during the time of verification a candidate is found to have fabricated details relevant to his employment. He or she will be asked to pay money in exchange for rectifying his details and helping him come clean. By doing so the unethical candidate get's past the radar and has his way into reputed software firm. This practice is carried out on rare occasion's to avoid client cross checking. The sole people were and are involved are Team Leaders , these team leaders having been solely responsible for this ops. very few employee are aware about thiz practice, surprisingly not even the mangers or junior employee know about it.
3) The team leader has been having illicit affair with the former manger and now associate director , and this is the reason why she is immune to all sorts of complaints and never bothers to treat the employees the way they should be.
4) In case any employee resigns he is threatened with Judaical charges such as sexual harassment, data theft etc.

Hence i would like to conclude my complaint by saying that PEBC has been responsible for sating the brand name of KPMG India just coz of managers who cannot manage themselves. We cant tend to ignore this heavy handed acts of companies by thinking our selves to be mere slaves or because working in this firms is inevitable for our bread and butter. Remember we are offering our skills and services and exchange we gets paid. But to be unnecessarily be burdened by unrealistic targets is totally not accepted by any one. PLZ do not ignore the harassment this company subjects you to. I have a lot to say but I have other better things to do. Word of advice do not work for KPMG Employee Verification dept. the only people who make good careers in this firm are self centered, unethical and individual who place there personal interest above all.
