[Resolved] Madras Transport Corporation — No buses in a specific route

There are lot of SEZ units have been started towards Siruseri, Kelambakkam, Sholinganallur, Navalur and the number of companies are increased in these areas. There are no direct bus provided to Kelambakkam from the following places.

1. Adambakkam, NGO colony (either via Inner ring road of Velachery or via Madipakkam) (However only one bus named 552K is running from Kilkattalai which is very far from Adambakkam and that too only 3 buses are there in the morning and the frequency of the bus is for every one hour only)

2. Medavakkam to Kelambakkam (currently T151 is the only bus run from Medavakkam to Navalur and the frequency is every one hour).

3. No direct bus from Velachery Vijayanagar via Chennai one route (left of Kamakshi hospital) to reach OMR. All the buses go via Medavakkam Pallikkaranai.

4. No buses to reach Velachery from NGO colony and vice versa.

We need bus service directly from Koyambedu to Medavakkam previously D70X was run from Ambathur to Medavakkam but it was stopped. Kindly arrange to run the bus in this route.

We are the residents of School Street, Koyambedu, Chennai . We request you to take necessary action against the people who were tying their cows and buffaloes in the street. They make the street untidy and were not listening to others words. For their earning, people in that area were suffering a lot. They wont clean the area. Chennai Corporation has to take action in this regard.
