I am Mr. Makarand B. Potdar (Indian National) currently in UK, owns flat in MN3/23, Kashish Park, L.B.S. Marg, Thane – West (Maharashtra) from 2003. We regularly made a payment for our electricity bill on time when we were there. As we moved to UK due to work, we used to pay annual minimum amount and mentioned in meter ‘NOT IN USE’ as per your officer’s advice from BU 4728.
We come to know from our Kashish Park neighbors' that we owe approximately Rs. 1100.00 from year 2008 and hence you might remove our meter due to non-payment. We are shocked as we have already paid Rs. 1500.00 in advance on 6th Sept, 2008. We paid some amount in June 2010 in our last visit. We absolutely don’t have any idea how come the bill came with Rs. 1100.00 as nobody is leaving there and not using the electricity.
I have checked online and it mentioned in bill that meter is faulty. If it so how can my bill goes like Rs. 1100.00 to noe Rs. 2020.00.
What is this going on? Please check the attachement which gives complete information that it is regularly deducted Rs. 30.00 (Minimum meter charges) till Nov 2010.
Considering this we appreciate if you could investigate this issue and let me know the status ASAP before I escalated this issue to higher authorities.
CHECKED MY METER IMMIDEATLY WHETHER SOMEONE STEALING ELECTRICITY FROM MY LINE.

I am humbly requesting you to please do not remove my Meter as I like to know the details of electricity misuse of my meter.
Kindly take this issue seriously and look into the same urgently.
