THE CHIEF ENGINEER SPEED POST
NAGPUR ZONE,
VIDYUT BHAVAN,
KATOL ROAD,
NAGPUR-440013.
Sub: Fluctuation of power supply during day time in the supply of Pole No.GS-5 of Dubey Layout, Nagpur.
Sir,
Your immediate attention is required to my letter dated[protected] followed by my reminder dated[protected], where in it was reported to the office of Chief Engineer that because of the illegal connections to the welding shops in Dubey Layout area the supply line provided to the residences in the area suffers from heavy fluctuation and causing the appliances to go bed.
It is needless to mention that the fluctuation does cause the failure of the electrical appliances which are very sensitive to the supplied voltage and as a result of fluctuation recently my Fridge and an LCD TV got affected and need lot of money to get it repair.
In the given premises will the MSEB pay me the repairing charges, cost of mental agony and the conveyances which are spent to take the affected units to repairing shop????????
During the period 2005 the then officer got implanted CONDENSERS on the supply line of the Welding Shops and after that the situation had improved, though it was compromising. After that we had been out of Nagpur because of Transfers and now after retirement I have settled here in my house finally but again I am facing the same problem of fluctuation. The issue was referred to Shri S.S. Matte, the area Asst. Engineer about 15 days back but till date no effective action has been taken on my complaint. The very non action of Shri S.S. Matte, Asst. Engineer of Jaital Road Office reflect that wilfully he is not taking any action to set right the cause of fluctuation for the reasons best known to everybody. Nonetheless he has not even bothered to visit these Welding Shops and/or has issued any show cause notice for not implanting the REQUIRED CONDENSERS on their supply line.
However, it is requested that an unaffected, un-fluctuated power supply is customers right and it should be provided to them.
Immediate instructions may please be issued to the Asst. Engineer to take the action and get the fluctuation fix on the stated electric pole supply.
Thanks
Yours truly,
Chander Verma
