[Resolved]  Mahindra Scorpio SLX — Complete Failure on Customer Servicing

Hi,

My Scorpio met with an accident, first and foremost it was a complete surprise that an Alto Car could create so much damage to a Scorpio. The Damage was primarily to the following:
1. Differential Broken
2. Axle Rod Broken
3. Chassis bent
4. Minor Body Damage
Whereas all that happened to the Alto was body damage.
Agree that this could be a rare case and possibly because of the angle of impact.

THE COMPLAINT is for the service I have been handed out by Sterling Motors Faridabad & Mahindra Customer Care Helpline.
It has been 20 days since the car is the workshop and all approvals from insurance recd, but there is not one action which has been taken to repair the Car. Everyday I hear same story that some parts are not yet available. Docket No: HE03/0034 logged with helpline 15 days ago and all i have recd is one sms thanking me for logging the complaint.

Can someone tell me what should I do or is consumer court the only recourse?

Mahindra Scorpio SLX — floor mating of my car is not same

I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM SWAMI AUTOMOBILES CHANDIGARH . I BOOKED 8 SEATER CAR . THE DEALER MADE THE 7 SEATER CAR TO 8 FOR DELIVERY TO ME . WHEN I SAW NOW FOR WASHING MY CAR I SAW THERE IS A DIFFERENCE IN FLOOR MATING I ALSO TALKED IN MAHINDRA HELPLINE FOR THIS CHEATING CASE BUT THERE IS NO RESPONSE
I have booked scorpio VLX white colour at Silver Jublee Motors, telco road, Pimpri, Pune on 26th May2009.The staff told me that it will take 10 days for delivery but written one month on booking order.Till date i have not received my vehicle and the staff was giving me false dates since last 15 days.I have already paid full amount on 27th June which was ready since 10th of June.I have taken a bank loan of Rs 7.5Lac.I have taken the vehicle for buisiess purpose.On 2nd night the vehicle has reached showroom and i got a phone call that the rate is increased by 7 to 8000 Rs.On 3rd i was suppose to get delivery of the vehicle and reached showroom evening 4.30pm after the phone call.The showroom staff told me that the vehicle price is increased by 21, 000/-Rs which was shock to me, additionaly the permitt, permanant registration was not ready and will take 3 days more for the same.
Finally showroom staff agreed that they will deduct the additional amount from sales tax refund and security cheque can be givin later with form 20(which was given to me same time).
Why so late?Why full information not given in time?Why staff is so uncooperative?who is responsible?Where should i complain for this?This is pure mental harassment and wastage of time.What should i Do?
I booked a Mahindra Xylo with silver jubilee motor on 18 Dec. And they give me a quotation for that. On which I Did my loan processing.

They were giving a some offers on that
Free Insurance.
Free Extended Warranty.
Case benefit of 12000.
and 5000 worth of Accessories.


And said that 5% cost I have to pay them before 25 0f Dec 2009, and rest amount I have to pay till 31 Dec 2009. I made whole payment.
and after that they are saying to me that we can not give you that discount. And you have to select a different car in 2010 model. And any discount in not available on that.
Which goes 40, 000 extra for me.

At the time of Bargaining, I asked to sahyadri Motors(Another one in Pune) for the discount. They were able to give me all the benefits except 5000 accessories. If they were able to provide me the car the can refuse me, I can buy it with someone else. Now after taking all money. They are misusing it.

I have a quotation receipt given by them, and all other bills for all payment.

What should I do?
As I informed to my parents about the car, I don’t want to stop to buying it, and for there fault I have to pay 40000, extra.

as per our information nearly more then 500 mahindra cars is in use in this district, all these vehicles have to move to Bangalore city for sparce & service.
It is very dificult, expensive & take its own time because of heavy traffic.we have our own showroom & infrastructure to provide necessary requirements to the customers.
