I cancelled my booked railway tickets Booking ID(NR[protected], for which a refund of 3780 was due, but on 6th Oct I got a refund of only Rs.1890(which is exact half of the amount). I need to know the reason behind this and will appreciate if my remaining amount is refunded as soon as possible. I even contacted ICICI bank regarding this but they said fault is at yours side.

I booked flight ticket from Banglore to Calcutta on Dec 17th fare is 7136. But amount is deducted twice. I given the complaint on same day i.e on Dec 17th. I make a call to makemytrip service desk more than 30 times sent mails more than 10 times, no proper response. Every time I am getting same response i.e the amount is refunded with in 72 hours. Its more than 23 days. concern raised multiple times. When I make a call to yours customercare people, they told me issue will be resolved by 9-Jan-2011. But no progress..

Please dont use MakeMyTrip. I am really having a tough time after making a booking for a hotel.

I made a booking on 16th of december for a hotel in munnar, kerala on 17th afternoon check in. After making payment I didnt get booking voucher for 3 hours. In between I called customer support for every 30 mins and ask me to wait for another half an hour. After 3 hours one of so called "Travel specialist" told me that amount was debit from the account but booking didnt happen and he told me that the amount will be credited in 7 working days.
I made another booking for the same hotel for the same date.
But I got booking voucher on 17th night for which I have to "check in" hotel on 17th afternoon and which is confirmed by Travel specialist that the booking didnt happen. Which I saw this voucher after came back from the vacation.
- I called customer support on 24th of Decmber. They told me to send mail. I dint that and no response.
- Again I called and they asked me to wait for 48 hours. No response. If I call customer support team they are asking me to wait for some as they are working on it.
- I raised first level of escalation. No response
- second level of escalation . No response
- Called customer support . They are saying that the team is working on it. ( After four days of raising complaint)
- third level escalation. No response.
PLEASE DONT USE MakeMyTrip for huge amount. You are taking a big risk. I have booked 3 hotel rooms till now. Out of that 1 transaction failed and having tough time in getting money back. After going through consumer complaint forum I can see that people have lost so much money.
I am not going to suggest MakeMyTrip for any of my frinds.

MAKEMYTRIP CHEATING TRAVELAGENT:-
Not refunding the amount for all tickets booked through this travel agent.
We have cancelled the tickets 20 hrs before the boarding time, but they not refund the amount, like this for how many consumers they are cheating by not refunding the amount.
But other travel agents have the consolidation refund based on the 3 hrs, 6hrs, 12 hrs, more than 24hrs.
Not refunding the amount for all tickets booked through this travel agent.

This issue has been prevailing since the day I complaint and was always promised that i would get a refund with in 72 hours and have been sending the copies of my account statement confirming the charge however this being my first experience with Make my trip i have been extremely unhappy and also frustrated . I was given a different ref #[protected] initially and was informed why my transaction failed and I had to call you guys get it escalated and was informed alright send us a statement and will get the refund done for you with in 72 hours and this message was sent to me on 9th Aug and again I receive an email today letting me know why my transaction failed and to send in my account statement again. This experience has been so stressful that it leaves me with Biter experience and today with limited access to internet I had to send in the document again and never even received a response of confirming the same . This forces me to never do business with you guys and I am sure if I don't receive the required status and update would definitely force me to share the same with my friends and on your wall.

When I arrived at the Varanasi Airport Air India said this flights have been cancelled since 2 weeks.
So I flew back to New Delhi. Air India promised of a full refund of R 4389. Also makemytrip wrote me about a refund. After several interventions I'm still waiting for my money.
Think twice before you make a booking with this company. H.Suter
