Booking ID: RAL[protected]. I'd canceled three train tickets on 19 August, 2010. Train number 2809, Howrah Mail. According to makemytrip site, I was supposed to get the refund (Rs 2,850) by 26 August.
Since then, I've called makemytrip 7-8 times. Each time, I'm being given the same reply, "You'll definitely get your refund within 48 hours" and "the amount has been escalated to the accounts department". Which were all lies. I've repeatedly asked them why the refund isn't being done, what is the problem and can I help regarding the same, but each time I get the same reply. "You'll definitely get your refund sir, within 48 hours." Shameless liars, they are. Its 12 September now, 24 days since the cancellation. And the refund hasn't been made.
Overall, it has been a harrowing experience. Once it even happened that the customer care executive asked me to stay on line and then hung up. I want to know why the refund hasn't been made till now, what was the problem. And of course, I want my money back. But nobody in makemytrip is listening.
