Marshall Mize Ford on Hwy. 153, sold me a 2003 Volvo XC-90, vin#yvcz[protected], with a 24,000 mile warranty which was priced at 3000, and was added onto the price of the fiance. I am Harold Dean McDaniel and since I purchased the auto the transmission was replace, a broken axle shaft was repaired and now at the end of the warranty, I brought the vehicle in to have the rear suspension, checked out under warranty and the dealer told me that the rear shocks were not covered. I was told by the Sears service center that these were struts on the back of the car and struts are covered under the warranty. So I rented a car under the pretince that the SUV Volvo XC-90 rear struts were covered. Then I get a phone call from Bob my service writer[protected] and find out that Volvo claims the repairs will be 1500.00 dollars, and that rear part of this vehicle has shocks not struts, saying these are "strut like shocks". As you can see they are indeed priced like a strut so if they are priced like a strut, and they are strut like shocks then they must be struts, and should be covered under the warranty. I would like for Marshal Mize Ford to take care of this for me under warranty and am filing this complaint hoping someone will follow up for me and contact the owner to come up with a resolution to this lemon of a Vehicle they sold me. I have 3 children, have custody of these children and can ill afford to be paying for this. Please help, I am at my wits end and need assistance.
