I also have a swift - VXI model.I am facing gesr shifting problem, particularly neutral to 1 st & 1st to 2 nd gear.The running of my car is 10000 kms since purchase.Being an engineer I am curious to understand why this is happening ? How do I ensure to reach customer's voice to Maruti Udoyg ?
This is a standard problem with all swift cars. I too faced similar problem right from day one. I showed to Sai Service at Lower Parel in Mumbai and they replaced the gear shift mechanism (one specific part whose nomenclature I dont recall now). Now my car is bingo...no problems at all. Gear shift is as smooth as butter...
i support your complaint becos sai doesnt keep any such name in the market the people sitting over they somehow want to make money and doesnt care for the customers i had bad experience recently with the used car division i have given an enquiry for lxi and vxi swift but unfortunately i received a call from the executive stating that a lxi 2006 is available in there showroom and when about the price he says 3.90 i just gushed out and told himthat i didnt ask the price of a new one the new lxi costs only 4.3 frm that moment i have told my friends not to deal sai service edapally
I own Maruti VDI RJ 14 CQ 2986, running of my car is 82000 kms, I have been facing gear shifting problem from third gear to second and first gear. I have visited on Vipul Motors (authoried Maruti Suzuki service centre) in Jaipur, they are saying that it is out of warranty work and told me the total cost of Rs.[protected] to repair the gear box, also told me that it will take 2 days to repair the issues.

Maruthi Swift — bad service
i have got a swift vdi KL47 7224 in the name of my father. which showed a complaint of back shock sound and brake sound.it had runned only about 6000 kms. I have given this vehicle in sai service station, edapilly..while recieving the vehicle they were so eager to take the vehicle..but after delivery, i understood that they didnt even touch my vehicle..they were not ready to even clean my brakes..during delivery they explained that they have done all the services..but it is too bad that both sounds are still exixting with an irritating experience and cheated by telling that they had done all the job.my vehicle was there from morning 8 to evening 6.during that time, they had done only washing.this is too bad.
