Maruti Zen Estilo VXI (with ABS) — Very Low mileage

My Car Maruti Zen Estilo, Reg. No. MH04 EF 6322, purchased in the month of March 2010, is giving me just 9kmpl in city and 13kmpl in highway, where as company claims 17kmpl + in highway, i have never got my car serviced in any other place other than Maruti authorized service center, but still i am finding it difficult to drive as it is giving me such a low mileage, and on the other hand petrol prices are going sky high. plz help.

My new zen Estilo has same problem . it is giving 9 KM Mileage in City and 13 KM in highway. I have purchased it in last month on 20th Oct 2011. Please help, what should we do?

I purchased it last Nov 2011 and its also giving hardly 9-10 KMPL in city and 12-13 on Highway.

I do not recommend anyone buy this car. It's mileage is worse than a petrol sedan. I get no more than 7 kmpl in city. It pains every time I visit a gas station. The worst car to buy... Thumbs down to Maruti
