I am a member in Marvel Co op Hsg Society,Andheri(w) Mumbai 53.I challenged the maintenance/ recovery proceedings before Registrar Co Op Mumbai. For that reason Society has charged me an amount of Rs. 58,000/- in my maintenance bill by way of legal charges which they have incurred on the lawyer to defend for society. Am i bound to pay such amount ? Henceforth, no member in Co Op Society will file any case/proceedings in any court. How to recover this illegal charges ?
